Paeroa Pukeko Lodge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, located in Paeroa. Fitted with a patio, the units feature a flat-screen TV and a shared bathroom with shower and a hairdryer. The bed was extremely comfortable, had my best night sleep in New Zealand in the bed!!! Michelle and Craig are fantastic hosts and were really good to me!!!! The shower was so nice and powerful!!! The lounge area was great!! Michelle breakfast was gorgeous and even gave me banana bread to bring away with me!!!
Located in Waikino in the Waikato region, Waikino Cabins features a patio and garden views. The property is 13 miles from Waihi Beach, and complimentary private parking is provided. Quiet but convenient location, new build so high water pressure and hot showers. Very comfortable bed, with upmarket linens. A lot of thought has been put into the amenities and inclusions, 10/10
Located in Paeroa in the Waikato region, Paeroa House B&B features accommodations with free private parking. The bed and breakfast offers a continental or Full English/Irish breakfast. Brenda is such a great host! She prepared us brekkie in the morning: proper full English breakfast!!! She was really lovely. The house was all decorated for Xmas and it was just amazing! A really nice place where you can have a nice rest after a long day discovering the north island.
Located next to the Hauraki Rail Train, Peddlers Motel offers a choice of stylish deluxe studio's or fully equipped suites. Guests enjoy access to free WiFi and an on-site restuarant. The Cowshed is located in Waikino. The air-conditioned property is 11 miles from Waihi Beach, and guests benefit from complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. The Karangahake Gorge is a beautiful area to visit but can be very busy at times so if you are looking to be away from the hustle, but still close enough everything, I thoroughly recommend staying at The Cowshed. Set on a beautiful farm it could not be more perfect. The view is amazing with nature at it's best on the doorstep with birdsong the only thing that interrupts the silence. A huge courtyard fronts the accommodation with a table and chairs and around a corner a wonderful outdoor bath, although the accommodation also comes with 3 showers inside so there is an abundance of choice. The decor of The Cowshed is wonderful and chic, kind of industrial but with luxury so along with the exposed pipes you get sumptuous sofas to sink into, fluffy towels and crisp linens. It really is fabulously designed and has all the extras you hope for plus more. Essentials in both fridge and cupboard, quality toiletries. Just too lovely to describe. The hosts are wonderful, communication prompt and I cannot imagine a better place to stay, even making a short journey from Waihi or Paeroa to stay here instead of in town would be well worthwhile but The Cowshed stands alone as a wonderful place for holiday accommodation.
Waihi Gold Alpacas 1 or 2 people is located in Waihi. Guests staying at this farm stay can use the balcony. This farm stay comes with a bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The property is set high up from the road so the only sounds you have are of the trees and the alpacas occasionally grunting! The hosts are so warm and welcoming and easy to talk to but would also respect if you wanted to indulge in the peace and space. The cabins are well presented and have the majority of the ammenities you’d need. It’s the perfect stop over or getaway and was unexpectedly a highlight of my trip!
we had a little trouble finding it as there is an Albert st in town Paeroa and that is where the map showed, it is actually out of town a short way. How ever this was not a problem just a bit confusing at the begging as we went there first. then we put our direction finder on and it took us to the correct place. Very clean and comfortable and owners very helpful and friendly. would definitley recommend to others and would stay there again
This is a well presented three bedroom property suiting multiple couples (3-4) for a short or long stay (we stayed for the Hauraki Rail Trail and this was our base, and functioned perfectly. Awesome accommodation. Perfect, Thanks.
Great cause not crowded wea we stayed. Rooms, very good and communal areas. Cooked at venue Great helpful staff. Great location.. Near to cycling and walking tracks, tunnel. Definitely a great place to take the family, old and young. Complimentary bikes for use which was great for my 3 boys. There was a winery next door and cafe. River across the road.. near towns like Paeroa and Te Aroha.
Awesome walks through old mines. From some short ones to couple of hours ones. Don't forget your water bottle! Crazy busy road. Get in/out of carpark is crazy. Try to cross busy road with speed limit 80kph it's interesting. There is a bridge but not really easy to find.
it was so great for walks and bikes rides it has a good cafe and even a hotel down the road if you like having a drink or two there is even a totally beautiful waterfall great place to visit and stay would recommend to anyone
IF we had longer, we would have been able to explore the area more. There are many walks in the area and many of them are flat and easy. The Waikino Station Cafe was great - great food, cosy, warm, lots of atmosphere. If we had stayed longer, it probably would have been best to have brought our own food and made use of the share kitchen. Didn't seem to be many close by restaurant options. If travelling from Auckland, there is a supermarket and some restaurants and fast food options at Paeroa.
Great location. Friendly host.
