We loved this property. It was a room in an old renovated farmhouse with polished floors and french doors opening onto a garden view with lots of birds. We were appreciative of the bottles of wines in the room available for purchase, especially as we were there when the area was on a high wind alert and the power was out for a few hours. The verandah was lovely to sit on and view the grape vines. The complimentary breakfast items left in the room were more than adequate and much appreciated. Also enjoyed the free wine tasting and chat with the owner of the vineyard. This was the property we enjoyed the most on our 10 day tour of New Zealand... and the town of Martinborough is lovely. We enjoyed a great meal at the pub.

Beautifully located in the garden. Vanessa and Graeme were terrific hosts. They have set the rooms up thoughtfully with everything you might need. Wonderful to have been offered complimentary bicycles.

Super comfy little cottage close to the middle of town and walking distance to wineries. The host was lovely, very accommodating and quick to respond. Great for a family - excellent range of board games, bikes and even a trampoline!

Martinborough has some really good restaurants and cafés and...

Martinborough has some really good restaurants and cafés and some lovely shops to wander around. It is a friendly, clean and very pretty town. It is situated within very easy reach of a large number of vineyards, which can be easily reached by bikes hired from the town (it’s very flat!) The 3 vineyards that we visited had great tasting rooms and excellent restaurants.

Great little town.

Great little town. Brunch at Medici was a highlight (we went there twice!). Cool Change is fabulous spot for drinks and casual eats. Karahui Wine Bar was such a joy for dinner - service and food couldn't be faulted. One of our favourite activities is to cycle round the vineyards and enjoy wine tastings.

Martinborough is a beautiful town.

Martinborough is a beautiful town. Would definitely love to visit again and recommend to other travellers. Unfortunately, we initially booked the wrong accommodation at Martinborough motel which was horrible. We did however find alternate accommodation which was lovely.

Martinborough is one of our favourite places to visit.

Martinborough is one of our favourite places to visit. It's about an hour away from our home and it's a great spot for a weekend getaway. Vineyards to visit, gin tasting if you like, lovely bouquet stores. Local food isn't too bad either :)

I loved the friendly, relaxed vibe and the great places to eat and drink. The scenery is wonderful and the place is easy to walk, cycle or drive around. Ialso enjoyed the boutique type shops and places where you could buy something just a little bit different.

Martinborough is a beautiful town with an attractive square and several lovely cafes and exclusive shops. The Martinborough Bookshop is lively and well stocked - has just won best independent bookshop in NZ.

We stayed in a studio which was spacious with a lounge seating area and a small table for dining, in addition to a well-stocked kitchenette with supplies for cooking. The breakfast supplied was more than just a continental one with eggs, muesli, milk, nice bread, spreads, juice, and filter coffee - all local produce. The beds were particularly comfortable. The location itself was an easy 5-minute drive from Martinborough Square and was very quiet. Highly recommend for a stay any time of the year.

Loved everything about this place from the thoughtful chocolates, high end teas, cute quirky buildings, the veranda, the bbq, the spa bath, and it’s in town within walking distance to about 6 vineyards. Leah is super nice and friendly too. we’ve previously stayed at the martinborough hotel, whilst that’s nice enough this is much nicer.

Perfect location. The unit, although dated, was sparkling clean and exactly as advertised. Gail and Colin were super helpful and welcoming. We had two adults and two kids and the family unit was the perfect low cost option for Martinborough for us.

The location is stunning, beautiful view of the hills and even though it's just an 8min drive from the centre of Martinborough you feel you're in the middle of nowhere with only a few other properties dotted around in the distance.

Location was spot on. Rooms were super clean. I liked the spiral wood staircase that led to the rooms, my room was in the Petite section of the hotel. The heating was top notch. Bed was comfortable.
