Aoraki Court Motel is a modern accommodations located in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park. All units feature great views of surrounding mountains and Mount Sefton. I like the apartment how does it look, I like that it was sarounded by the mountains,,and you can hear the sounds of birda. Absolutely, I can recommend it.!
Located in Mount Cook Village in the Canterbury region, Aoraki Alpine Chalet has a balcony and mountain views. location and views liked the fact that it was an older house, this makes the price realistic and the view is the icing on top, quality of bedding, and the heating were excellent
Located 29 miles from Lake Pukaki, Mount Cook Station Shearers Quarters Lodge has accommodations with a shared lounge, a garden and a shared kitchen for your convenience. Complimentary WiFi is... The facilities were wonderful. Our host went above and beyond by taking us to meet & feed her Highland Cattle
Location was absolutely great. The restaurant offered us one of the best meal we had in NZ (this trip). The buffet was astonishing good value and goes very well with a pint of the NZ brew! The view from the windows and everywhere else is fantastic
Lovely area, so quiet. Worth a visit to information centre. The motel was lovely and clean and check in easy with lots of information provided by someone who has a passion for their area. Lovely stay, very comfy with nice views too. Would definitely come back. We had own vehicle, so drove around easily using map. We had brought food and supplies in Twizel on our way to Mt Cook, so we didn't have to go out which suited us.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The rooms are not soundproof and we had to be moved to another room at 1.30am in the morning. Which also wasn't soundproof and was woken at 7am. We were on the ground floor and the sound from the floor above was terrible.
Amazing spot. Weather is very changeable so unfortunately we weren’t able to see the top of the mountain in the two nights we were there however it’s still a beautiful place and the easy/shorter walks can be done in any weather. Dining out options very limited so you need to bring your own food and snacks.
The village is compact and walkable. It offers easy access to many walking tracks to suit a range of abilities. These are well documented with distance , level and estimated return time. The Sir Edmund Hillary Museum is worth a visit. The film of his life is well made but my partner and I had an issue with the sound quality. Be advised that the Hermitage Hotel is the only venue the purchase an evening meal ( excellent quality buffet at $65pp)or Breafast(also a buffet). Aoraki Court Motel offers limited snacks and frozen meals for sale.
Area is amazing and great activities. Remember there are no shops and you are limited to restaurants provided by hotels, with expensive large meals. If you like to eat simply you must bring this with you, or face a long drive to the nearest shops.
The house was ideal for two couples. It was very homely, warm when we arrived, and there was a fire which added to the ambience. Facilities were good. From the house you could see Mt Cook from the lounge and bedroom. It was awesome. For us the stay was perfect. Easy walk to Visitors centre which was exceptional and to The Heritage hotel for a meal.
Ideal location for visiting Aoraki Mt Cook. Shared lounge / kitchen area has superb views of the mountains. Any accommodation in Mt Cook area is going to be expensive, as this is a very popular area. However, the Lodge offers very good accommodation at a comparatively reasonable price.
The patio was facing with great view of the mountains .. The room was very clean. This was one of the two hotels in the area and the second one had a few cafe / restaurants and we were able to walk to them in about 2 mins. Our room had a nice kitchenette with appropriate facility.
Clean, modern, comfortable bed, solid shower. Great location for hiking and exploring the outdoors. Hotel has a bar and restaurant onsite.
