We liked how close everything was and in walking...

We liked how close everything was and in walking distance.The beach is just a few minutes away from where we stayed.It is really easy to get around in orewa.The park by the beach was really good.We ate at mac donald’s .Favourite places were the op shops.

Location is good.Access to all eateries is in easy walking distance.Close to beach,playground and shops for the grandchildren.Units are comfortable with everything one needs.Ground level and ample free parking right outside units makes easy unloading and loading of car.Affordable rates.

Plenty of shops close to the beach but not noisy Great beach walking, with a great cycleway by the estuary Safe swimming Easy to get to the motorway to Auckland or over the hill north to Wenderholm Park.

We really used Orewa as a base.

We really used Orewa as a base. To travel around the area, over to Whangaparāoa and up to Matakana and Omaha. The beachcomber was perfect for this. It was all we needed with lovely bed and nice kitchenette and a nice big tv to watch the rugby on. The bathroom was good with a good shower. All we needed and wanted.

Orewa is a small coastal town with a big heart.

Orewa is a small coastal town with a big heart. There are loads of little shops and restaurants. The Sunday market was such a lovely surprise. There are also some of the best breakfast cafes. Can walk and cycle along the Estuary onto the beach.

If you want to go to a place that makes you feel welcome,...

If you want to go to a place that makes you feel welcome, then it Orewa is that place. If you need to feel safe where there is a sence of community, where people are friendly and happy then its Orewa.It's a go to happy place for me when i need a break or a change, that feeds my body, tucks me in at night and gives me peace and calm. That charges my batteries, resets me and gets me back on the right path until the next time. It's also a spiritual place.

Location was great. Close to shops, cafes, supermarkets & the main strip ! Could walk everywhere. Pool & spa were amazing. Every time we swam we had the pool + spa too ourselves. Room was lovely & warm , breeze was beautiful from the balcony. Gym was enough to get a nice workout in too & the walk around the hotel gardens was nice too

I really liked the host, they were very kind and helpful to me. I always wanted to try how to live in RV, so I was completely satisfied with my experience. There is also a nice garden that you could roam and get to the nice river. Location is good if you want to visit Auckland itself - it is like 30 mins to CBD with a car.

Great location for relaxing and a long walk on the beach after flying into Auckland. Fantastic ocean views from rooms on sea front. Very comfortable bed. Clean room. Lovely and accommodating staff. Short walk to restaurants and shops. Great all round.
