Truly tranquil setting in nature, with hosts quietly and calmly meeting our every need and making us feel welcome. A huge rain+wind storm passed through in the night, and the tiny cabin was cozy and comfie.

Absolutely stunning and peaceful location, exactly the relaxing spot I was looking for. Plenty of pretty walks in the area and sea lions right on the beach below! Beach access directly in front of the place and a beautiful outdoor sitting area. The owners were the most welcoming, helpful, and sweetest people I’ve met. The facilities were great and the place was so homey. Didn’t want to leave!

Guests staying at Catlins Newhaven Holiday Park are a 5-minute walk from Surat Bay, a long sand beach in Newhaven, where you may be lucky enough to see a Hooker Sea Lion.

This place is run by a wonderful couple that are very accommodating and easy to chat with. It is right on the inner most part of a bay with a beautiful walkway to the water. It is very clean and comfortable and oh so quaint! There is a little beach. They have camping and RV sites as well. We stayed in a big cabin with a bathroom and kitchenette but most only have a bedroom with a shared bathroom and shower across the way! Do the upgrade for the bigger cabin with these amenities, it is well worth it! We have enjoyed every minute here and would are referring anyone we know that is traveling to stay here! Thank you to these great hosts!

First time staying in a tiny home, and I love it!! The place has everything you need and is really comfy (although it did get really cold at night!). The hosts were super kind and waited pretty late for me to arrive.
