OMG this place is well worth a few more days stay. As we were on a group road trip of the south island, it was already a pre-set time frame at Queenstown. One night wasn't enough. I would not recommend anything less than 4-5 days for any traveller as this town has something for all ages and adventurers.
Great vibe, touristy town. Lots of activities. Many restaurants to pick from. Recommend Botswana, Rata, Ivy & Lola's, White & Wong, Paddy Gaddy, Baja and for a real experience Amisfield. Parking in Central town a nightmare, if you are not staying centrally then get the bus or walk.
If you into skiing bung jumping swing etc great place for these events, I dont do night life things so cant help you there. Parking is hard work. You can walk around the town easy its a small area All people there vistors and shops I had no problems with
The most beautiful place in the world!! Been here during summer and winter both but the winter experience and the scenery was quite another level. The chopper ride to snowy mountains was the highlight. Amazing food and don't forget to try the Fergberg Burger (queues can be very long, I waited for 30 mins but was worth it)
Beautiful place, plenty to do and see, but very expensive to get the best out of it. Petrol $3.00 per litre. (The Four Square has hot meals for $7.25, lamb shank, mash, corn. peas and gravy.) Different choice every night for same price.
Queenstown is great, busy and vibrant. Parking can be frustrating, as can queues, but we managed to get into the restaurant we chose at 8pm on the Saturday night of the Luma Festival of Lights, so that was great. Travel around the city is best on foot as the city area is small, but to go out the Frankton and other shopping area and the Shotover Jet is by car so look for hotels with parking. Every restaurant and attraction we visited was enjoyable. Pricey, but that's expected.
Queenstown
We had decided to stay an extra night in Queenstown and as our hotel was already booked out booked in to this hotel for one night. I would stay here again as it's a small hotel in a central location. The room we had was slightly below street level so was a little dark but very quiet. There is a guest laundry provided which was greatly appreciated. This hotel is close to the park and central Queenstown and is great value for money
the location very close to town,, stations,, restaurants, tour agency ,, shops, bus lane etc in short very accessible to everywhere just a walk distance. and I like the fact that the pod is private very clean and people stay in and staff are decent.. not as cheap as other hostel but the rate will meet your expectation.. still affordable.. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to Queenstown
Located just a few minutes drive from the centre of Queenstown. The Hotel offers a courtesy bus to drop you off and pick you up which is very helpful. Beautiful views from the room of the mountain and lake. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and showed us to our room with a quick tour. The room was a large size and featured a spa bath and fantastic shower.
We booked here last minute as a change from another hotel in another town as we wanted to be closer to queenstown. The room was clean, there was good parking, and the staff were accommodating. The property is a mix of hotel rooms and residential accommodation so limited facilities but a 15-20 minute from the city centre.
Queenstown
Great budget but comfort friendly accommodation for our family of 5 (3 young kids) plenty of space and amazing view. Easy to get around mainstream Queenstown. 2 room apartment was well equipped. Beds super comfy and we need to know where the couch came from as we want the same one for our house.... Soooo comfy.
This is a unique, boutique style hotel. Small, with a homely feel to it, and decorated to a high standard. The location is great, close to town, and easy to walk into Queenstown centre. Access to free NZ products (like soft drinks and chocolate) was a really nice touch.
Kelvin Heights, Queenstown
The resort is gorgeous, food at the restaurant is lovely, the service at the Spa is terrific, we had an amazing 1 hour couples massage. Access to the water taxi is a super cheap and convenient way to get to the heart of Queenstown for some shopping or restaurants.
Beat the location , right in the centre of queenstown with a short walk to all the reteraunts and bars ( must try brazillian bbq !) . Rooms are amazing , clean , comfortable and staff are really friendly and helpful . great value . Cant wait to stay again.
Queenstown
The apartment is about 20mins walking distance to Queenstown Central via the botanical gardens. The apartment had all the house necessities with amazing views of the lake from the bedrooms. Internet was high speed which was helpful.
Queenstown
Coronet View is in a quiet part of Queenstown with good views and easy access to the centre. Nice to be close to the road to Arrowtown which is well worth a visit. The hotel is set amid lovely gardens.
