Hotel in Queenstown
This apartment-style hotel is nestled on the shores of Queenstown's Lake Wakatipu, offering stunning views over the lake and surrounding mountain ranges. Facilities include a fitness centre and sauna.... Extremely friendly staff, great service (every day coffee, tea, milk, shampoo, etc. resupplied), good location - dependingon your needs, stunning views onto lake and mountains (we stayed in the newly built building just next to the shore), easy access to lake/beach via the public track along the shore with a jetty to enjoy the scenery. Some nice lookouts close by to be reached within 5 to 20 min to for example enjoy the dawning of the day with its vivid sky. Facilities clean and modern. Each socket offers USB charging, balcony, private bathroom, e-kettle, Nespresso, cutlery/dishes, fridge. Depending on your room/suite/appartement these facilities will vary. We stayed in a small but cosy room. Free shuttle service to/from city centre. Public bus stop just in front of the hotel; busses are cheap, the connection is good; get yourself the bee card. You're in Queenstown centre in no time. Also doesn't take long to get to e.g. Arrowtown. Alternatively you can walk along the shore to Queenstown within 40min.

Location was great if you have s car, close enough to town but also easy to go to surrounding areas without getting caught up in too much traffic. Dramatic, relaxing and calming surrounds with plenty of outdoor things to do.
Queenstown is great. Most people friendly and helpful. The current upgrades to roads and pedestrian areas make it difficult to get around. There is a shortage of reasonably priced places to get some breakfast. Hopefully if I stayed at a motel again I would have transport to buy groceries. I would try to be nearer the centre. Restaurants on the whole were good. Meals at the St Moritz, Lone Star and some coffee shops were v good. Breakfast at the Lake Hayes cafe was excellent.
Loads of restaurants ... just as well ... becos again Hotels do not operate their Restaurants & Cafes. Same old story that has been told to us each time we go down to Queenstown "shortage of Staff" however, NO problem in Hotels chsrging FULL RATES for NO services!
My second trip after 5 years and this place is just so breathtakingly beautiful. Pack both warm and cold clothes as the weather can change during the day. Walk the trails around Queenstown because it is worth it! If you like ramen, visit Tanoshi Iko and try their mushroom extras. If you like steak, visit Flame and make sure you get the rattlesnake sauce (with literally THE best steak I’ve ever had). The people are lovely, all very helpful. The town of Queenstown is very tourist-y but the walking trails and outer areas can be quite peaceful. A great place to buy the Manuka honey is at the Kiwi Park - and the money goes towards their conservation. I rented a car through Snap Rentals and they were great.
Queenstown has to be a highlight of any trips to the South Island. It is also central to the Otago region and is the centre of sporting and adventure. Also caters to travelers who may not want to jump out of perfectly good planes. Restaurant scene not as good as it was due to post Covid staffing blues still being a challenge. But if you have self-contained accommodation its not a problem.
Excellent facilities including quality restaurants pubs and cafes. Picturesque walks and friendly locals. Gondola ride to restaurant and backdrop of views world class and unforgettable. On the street, business owners are welcoming and encouraging of your engagement. Multitude of tourist facilities appealing BUT not as appealing as the friendly nature of the locals. Is this the town where Arnie first uttered “I’ll be back!”
Location of the hotel was great. Close to walk to the centre of town but far enough away to not hear or see all the hustle of people. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Check In and check out a breeze with the front desk staff looking immaculate and knowledgeable. Restaurant and bar overlooks Lake Wakatipu so it's easy to stay for 1 or 100 cocktails while enjoying the views. Alternatively sitting in front of the fire place with a drink was perfect for a wintery night. Will definitely stay again next time I'm in Queenstown.
The hotel was amazing. Modern, clean and stylish and had amazing free facilities such as hot drinks and filtered water available 24/7. The view from the outdoor deck was to die for overlooking Queenstown bay and the location was handy, only a short 5 minute walk to the centre of town. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, I could not recommended mi-pad enough to anyone looking for a place to stay in Queenstown.
Queenstown
Amazing location, free parking available. Booked From Queenstown: Milford Sound Full-Day Trip by Bus & Boat and got picked up from Copthorne Hotel & Apartments Queenstown Lakeview, 88 Frankton Road, Queenstown 9300, New Zealand opposite to this hotel. Amazing stay and will recommend to others the same. Will be back again soon :-)
Queenstown
Location is very central, and the private room that we had did have a (shared) balcony, which was good. Bed was relatively comfortable and large. The room came with a small fridge too which was useful since we had brought food with us. It was also pretty cheap, though we've had much better value for money elsewhere in Queenstown.
Amazing experience! My partner and I love Queenstown. We traveled from Dunedin for a secret elopement. Everything was great. Beautiful place to stay and just a short walk to the Queenstown centre. When we checked out the lovely woman behind the desk congratulated us and gifted us a bottle of bubbles. We will be back :)
Only a short walk down the hill to the centre. The walk back up the hill is steep! Great view out over the lake from my room on the 3rd floor. Comfortable beds, clean room, great shower, friendly staff and decent sized gym facilities (I used the treadmill). Parking (free) was on side street or out front of the hotel.
Queenstown
Ideal location to explore Queenstown. loved the evening canapés and wine as an opportunity to meet and chat with the other guests and staff. The staff were superb, whether in the kitchen, front of house or housekeeping. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Queenstown.
Location was perfect, a quick walk to town centre or very cheap Uber if raining and you don't want to walk. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the $ 10 food and beverage credit for doing our own housekeeping. Loved our suite upgrade, great views, comfy bed and loved having a bath.
Queenstown
The location of the hotel was incredibly handy for our stay in Queenstown, it was only a couple of minutes from the town centre and water front. Good facilities such as mini kitchen and ensuite for both rooms. We were able to easily socialise with our friends in the next room.
Kelvin Heights, Queenstown
Beautiful spacious room. Really clean and modern. Large bathroom with nice bath tub Staff were really helpful! Location was nice, although away from the main queenstown centre, you can take a water taxi from the Hilton. I liked how the hotel was right by the lake
Queenstown
Nice apartments had everything we need and very warm. Kind welcoming caring staff and owners. stunning views from our apartment of the snowy mountains, Queenstown town centre and lake. highly recommended and would stay here again.
Great view and very comfortable room with a gas fire place, there is also a washing machine and dryer available which is great, all only 15 mins walk away from the centre of Queenstown
The hotel is in a great location, very handy to central Queenstown. Well appointed rooms and the inclusion of a complimentary breakfast was a very welcome treat.
love the view of the mountain and lake from the bed. very good breakfast with good variety of food. Hotel in great location at centre of town. valet parking.
Queenstown
Amazing location a stones throw from the centre of town and the hustle and bustle of Queenstowns lively restaurant/bar scene.
Queenstown
Very good for longer stays, needing more than a hotel room. Very close to the centre of town.
