We much enjoyed staying in this large family home on extensive grounds just outside Timaru. Lynne and Aaron went out of their way to make all their guests feel welcome and to enjoy the facilities, which included a fully-equiped kitchen (including ready access to a dishwasher). Delicious breakfasts were provided, with hot fruit and excellent coffee. Our room was very comfortable.

Outdoor seating is also available at Brynderwyn Hill of Oaks by Tiny Away.

Located in Timaru, a 15-minute walk from Caroline Bay Beach, The Fort Timaru has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking, a terrace and a bar.

Great location, easy to walk to go out for dinner, or to the beach. Off-street parking appreciated. Great facilities (kitchen, somewhere to sit with a cuppa), great clean bathrooms.

Excellent access to Caroline Bay. Room was large and very comfortable. We thought it would be noisy being close to main road but the room was surprisingly quiet

Well appointed kitchen, nice size, great porch, very quiet. Location pretty close to town, could walk. Grocery store close by. Most restaurants downtown. Washer and dryer worked well. We used the BBQ 3 nights, great!

Hosts were wonderful. Julie and Mike made us feel welcome and gave us the fascinating history of the lavender farm operation, the alpaca threesome they raise, and the impressive stone statue collection found around the beautifully landscaped grounds. We purchased numerous items from their shop on site full homemade lavender products.
