The motel is about 200m off the main road and therefore it is quiet. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with stove and microwave oven. The view outsde balcony is a large area of farm. The owner is nice. It is a perfect rest place in Lewis Pass.

Ashley and Amber were wonderful hosts and assisted with the intricacies of getting some amateur fly fishing done - what a great experience! Excellent mobile coverage and ok wifi made for a great connected stay, but equally it would be great to fully disconnect and just enjoy the beech forests, sparkling clear rivers, and wonderful countryside. A truly special place and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and well equipped.

    Lewis Pass Motel is the Ideal place to get away from the city, Comfort of home, quiet restful and was blessed with awesome weather. The tap water is really good. Only drink filtered water in the city. It was REALLY GOOD !!!! Didn’t get to Springs Junction itself. Used the motel as a base to spend time at Maria Springs. Will go back and look at the walks in the area.

    The directions we were given were perfect.

    The directions we were given were perfect. This motel had a short distance to get to by car to the start of some lovely walks. I even loved the fancy way the towels were folded, not usually done in motels or hotels now. The beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the kitchen had what we needed to cook our dinner.
