VERY comfortable hotel in a truly perfect location. Beautiful view overlooking the lake. Close to town for selection of restaurants and shops. Outstanding breakfast. (Try the French toast!!). Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, well-appointed - amazing water pressure. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The location was very beautiful over looking the lake. Many lush greenery and cute lemon trees. The room was very comfortable and cozy. The duty managers Peter and Sherwin-Dan were very helpful and accommodating. They both gave excellent service. I highly recommend the HILTON LAKE TAUPO to anyone who will visit Taupo.

Large two story apartment with a garage to park in. We drove into downtown to eat, since recent knee surgery limited distance, but normally we would have walked. Shared bathroom is large and has an entrance from both bedrooms for easy access.

    The Lake itself was huge which we hadn't expected. There is a well-positioned walking track to take in more views of the lake and other areas of Taupo. Vibrant place. Was easily able to imagine the increase in vibrancy during the upcoming summer seasosn. Good shopping facilities.

    Taupo is a family friendly destination with many activities...

    Taupo is a family friendly destination with many activities available around the lake. However it can be very busy during popular season such as the Christmas break, so making a plan to visit in advance would be my recommendation. We love Taupo, and it will be somewhere we keep coming back.

    The geothermal sites and great walks very accessible from this area. Hukka falls is amazing. The mud pools and geothermal parks are about 30 minutes from this site. Great choice of water front restaurants to choice from that are 5 minute drive away.

    Only there for a short time - only chose Taupo as it was central to all those attending the reunion. Great selection of cafe's to meet & dine in, with free parking. Enjoyed dining out at Incredible India. Nice relaxing stroll around the lake and browsing at the markets.

    You've GOT to get out on the water one way or another and...

    You've GOT to get out on the water one way or another and the big thing to see is the rock carvings. The waterfront is beautiful to stroll along, especially if you enjoy street art, and Taupo boasts the world's coolest MacDonald's. A variety of shops are set out in the easy to navigate grid and close together with plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants - I went to Robert Harris twice as it was so good. Huka Falls is worth seeing (keep walking north from it to hot water beach) and there's a container if you walk back on the south side towards the park from there selling awesome wedges with sour cream and sweet chilli sauce.

    An awesome vibe, felt very relaxed and enjoyed the leisurely walk along the lake front. Cobb & Co had brilliant service and the food was exceptional, in fact it was so nice we had tea there two nights in a row. The Millennium Resort was a great place to stay and the lake view from our bedroom highlighted our stay. The ‘Grotto’ is definitely worth the experience if you stay at The Millennium. Debbie & Dean

    We again enjoyed our stay at the motel. Our room was upstairs with our own spa. It was well set out and clean. The bed was slightly hard for us but is because we have just purchased a new bed. The room was spacious and quiet. The car park was full with numerous cars and lots of children there for the Taupo Rugby tournament which is why we were there. We used the tea making facilities but did not need the motel equipment for meals. The view over the lake was lovely and having a small table and chairs on the balcony.

    I was skeptical at first being in B&B and insisted on Hotel accomodation, but in the end I was wrong. Cosy and quiet place close to the town of Taupo (20 min by car) and very close to the lake itself (10 min walk). Hosts are a sweet couple, very well mannered and focused on being helpful without annoyances. Friendly chat was just accompaning a tremendous breakfast and started our day with a smile. Highly recommended

    Loved the spaciousness for a family gathering. Good outdoor deck area for dining and sunbathing. The jaccuci on the deck was brilliant for all ages and the shared pool and lake through the gate and bikes to explore and cycle into Taupo meant we loved hanging out at the Penthouse apartment. EV charging was a bonus.

    Very pleased that we chose this motel. Everything is SPOTLESSLY clean. The rooms are large with a great kitchenette. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is around the corner from downtown and across the street with the I LOVE TAUPO sign and a lake view. Couldn't fault it.

    Very clean, has everything you need. Very quiet so got a good night sleep, which was essential to prepare for Round The Lake event. Good value, one the cheaper rooms I found in Taupo. I certainly plan to stay again for future events.
