Hamad and Hassan were very funny and sweet. We had a lovely time by the fire. Hassan cooked great food for dinner and breakfast. Good value compared with some other places considering dinner and breakfast is included. Room is very comfy, we slept great. Good location, feels very cosy. Hamad is Bedouin and he has some beautiful artefacts to show you and talk about. Make sure you bring cash to pay.

1. We booked the pick up /drop off for 5rial each way( per car) from Badiya where we parked the car overnight. The drive was fun 2. Love the traditional tent on the stilts. Our tent is big and shower/ toilet work perfect ( amazed with good water pressure!) the balcony is really nice to relax. Bed and blankets are very comfortable. 3. Sand dunes all around easy to walk for sunset and sunrise 4. Food is delicious both dinner and free breakfast. Water/tea/coffee are free 5. Staff is friendly and owner Salim even gave me a small gift before we left. 6. You can pay either cash or credit card

The property is big and good for big families. Hospitality and the reception is very good and clearly explained about the breakfast, dinner charges and also other activities. Friendly staff and very well supported. Facilities like outdoor swimming pool, outdoor sitting area, cooking area all very good. Sunrise at the desert was excellent and adventure drive from the very friendly driver.

I had an unforgettable stay at Layali Camp! Everything was perfect — from the warm hospitality to the stunning desert views. The traditional tent was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel like family. The sunset view from the dunes was magical, and the camel ride was a truly unique experience. Breakfast was delicious, and having free private parking was very convenient. I highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic desert experience. I will definitely come back again!

This villa is the nicest place to stay in the area. Instead of staying in a tent camp in the desert, stay here with comfortable beds, a pool and Air Conditioning but still be steps away from the desert and do day excursions into the desert. Mohammed arranged all of our desert excursions at a better price than we would pay anywhere else. Mohammed was the best host. He invited us into his home for coffee and told us where to go experience the beginning of Eid. He provided us with breakfast and dinner daily that was delicious. We could not have had a better experience. Staying in this villa was the highlight of our trip to Oman!
