It has an amazing view of the island! I loved the decor and overall coziness and style of the hotel. It felt like a a piece of Europe on the Pacific! Staff was warm, rooms were comfortable and the food was absolutely delicious!

Incredible view, convenient location in a quiet place (no one will disturb your sleep!), very hospitable hosts and staff, and incredibly delicious homemade breakfast. Also don't miss the opportunity to visit Calaloo Restaurant near the beach, the food and cocktails are amazing. You can also leave there your luggage on arrival and before you leave.

Exquisite property - a destination in itself. We took the tour of the hotel - the thoughtful historical and design features included in the renovation are impressive. The breakfast (included) was excellent. We had dinner in two of the onsite restaurants and the meals were both delicious and reasonably priced. Can’t beat the location.

    Taboga Island is great for a day excursion, if it is sunny, you can go to the beach and hang out. You can get a great pina colada at one of the local spots, or bring a cooler with you. there are quite a few eating places, but you'll have to pay to shower and go the the bathroom. Getting there is usually by the Taboga Ferry, which is a 30 minute ride and a lot of fun. there is only a main road that you can walk on to explore the area but they have golf carts that travel the same road as well. One important thing to note is to bring cash, because there is no ATM on the island.

    A nice getaway from the city, there are relaxing spots and party spots. You can walk the whole island in no time or take a golf cart where you want to go. Overall the island is very dirty though and might not be the right vibe for some. Most of the beaches have trash everywhere and many trash containers overflow. Folks will tell you the trash come from the city but there is plenty generated here on the island. Honda beach seems a bit cleaner but when the tide comes in about 90% of the beach disappears. For a good meal in and a fantastic view visit Villa Capriocha, its costs a bit more bet definately worth it.

    I advise to stay min for 2 nights as it is truly different when all "one day tourists" come and go and you have all island to yourself. The city itself is faced the sunrise so you can start you day early and enjoy it and till 10 am there will be few people and the crowd mainly leave at 15:45, hence you back to quite again. Although not many restaurant are opened after 19:30 but you can always enjoy your drink on the beach to in the hotel + to be in quite with yourself.

    The island has a lot of potential for tourism.

    The island has a lot of potential for tourism. Right now they need to invest more in their beach facilities, maybe a better "food court" or food area with better chairs and tables. Also they need to make sure visitors pick up their trash after them.

You fell the spirit and the energy in every place and corner of this magnificent boutique hotel. The design is outstanding, all very well planned and meticulously thought.     Was a nice place to stay for our one night on the island. The hotel is located up a hill with beautiful views. Walking up that hill with luggage is quite hard but the hotel offers free pick up and drop off. Gorgeous outdoor area (hammock, dining). The beds were comfy and the room was clean. It was quiet. The staff is kind and welcoming. Clean and comfortable room. Very friendly and helpful staff, also the breakfast is very nice (8$).

    The best place to stay in Taboga. In front of the ferry dock, close to a couple of restaurants and the beach. Dave and Maria are wonderful and help you enjoy your stay to the most. Ask Dave about the coffee press in you are desperate for a good coffee. Swimming pool is great. Very comfortable and clean rooms.
