Henry picked me up at the main port of the island and helped me walk up. He even joined me to visit the ruins. They were so friendly and it was a great experience in the life of locals and the family is really sweet. It’s so quiet and peaceful. His wife Mariluz walked me to the main port the next day. Vidal and Sonia were great hosts! They picked us up at the port by motorbike, very nice trip around the island. The room has its own bathroom and toilet with hot water and they provide a heater for the night so we were not cold at all. They prepared lunch (quinoa soup and trout with rice and vegetables), diner (chicken with rice and vegetables) and breakfast (fried egg and pancakes) for 20 soles extra per meal per person which is extremely fair given that these were one of the best meals we had during our trip, home made by Sonia with fresh organic products.
