Kauhuhu Casa Hotel - San Bartolo offers rooms in San Bartolo. An indoor swimming pool is available for guests. Some units at the property include a terrace with a sea view. The nice reception from the owner and the facilities of the hotel were really amazing and cozy! :)
Situated in San Bartolo, just 1.9 km from Playa Santa María del Mar, Departamento de playa - Condominio OCEAN REEF - SAN BARTOLO features beachfront accommodation with a restaurant, an outdoor... The pool and gymnasium are great. It is an easy walk to the beach from the property.
Cozy & elegant apartment with a stunning view to sea is a property situated in San Bartolo near Playa Santa María del Mar. The view was amazing, the access to the beach wasn’t too far, the beds were comfortable, the TV had Netflix and YouTube which was convenient.
The view was nice, all the rest was horrible. Bathroom so small that I couldn't even fit on the toilet. There was no hot water. Bedding was dirty and stinky, even found someone else's hair. Staff were a joke. I could go on ... for 45 $ a night I feel I was robbed. Never coming back and wouldn't recommend this place. Accommodations not worth the price. Needs to be renovated are torn down completely.
We stayed at Playa San Bartolo Apartments, great price for the amount of days we stayed there. Beautiful view of the beach, awesome atmosphere, clean, new, has everything you need and more since you can go to the town (walking distance) and buy groceries to cook or grill at the apartment. We will definitely book again! Did I say that these apartments are right ON the beach? Awesome!!!
It is about as good as it gets for Southern Peru. Be prepared for dirt roads but nice hotels and nice beaches. The water is a bit rough and cool, not for newbies. Had some great food in downtown San Bartolo. Mexican Tacos and Peruvian Shrimp in Garlic Sauce. mmm
This is not an idea beach for foreigners. Surf is not ideal and there is no nice beach to lay out in. It's a real sleepy town where you don't have many options to stay. I recommend heading north or further south.
Great coastal town atmosphere. So close to Lima yet so very different - felt a lot more genuine with none of the hustle and harassment of Miraflores. Nice surf but the only downer was very polluted seawater for the first couple of days (till the tides and current flushed the bay).
