We loved our stay at Chalet Ohana! Nina, our host, was so warm, friendly and helpful. The guest house was pristine and very nicely furnished. We stayed in one room and our kids in another. Our kids loved swimming in the pool. Very conveniently located and we very much appreciated Nina picking us up from the airport at an ungodly hour and for her recommendations for meals and entertainment close by. She is a great ambassador for Tahiti.

The host, Mr Thomas was very responsive to my emails and messages as it were my parents traveling with my niece. He picked them from the airport and dropped them early hours of the next day for their flight to Fiji. The location has beautiful and scenic views that were breathtaking. The apartment was spacious, clean, and fully furnished. I’ll definitely book again with them on my next trip. Eva was an amazing hostess. Super nice and friendly. She was so helpful and responsive with my questions. She picked me up from the ferry and took me to the airport the day after, which was a big relief as I had an early trip back to my country. Her house was spotless, everything super clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable with very soft and clean linen. I'm so happy about having chosen her place to stay my last night in French Polynesia. I hope to see her again!

A super comfy place,very clean and modern with everything you need to feel right at home ,close to the airport. The hosts,Brigitte and Ange are very nice and welcoming . Great people. Really friendly and a lovely family. Fab pool nice space and pool. Easy walk to airport 10 mins max. Opposite a supermarket and a petrol station if you have a car. Can’t fault it at all. They even gave me a free meal of tuna sashimi thrown in for free 👌

The apartment was spacious and was well equipped for a long or short stay. The WiFi, AC worked great, the patio was large and we enjoyed breakfast there in the morning. The bathroom is large and shower pressure and temperature is very good. Communication with the host was excellent. We only stayed one night and appreciated the coffee that was left for usable!

I made a late evening reservation due to a last minute change in my travel plans after arriving at the Tahiti airport. I needed an overnight stay and was lucky I found such a good accommodation for which the host Wilfred made even better as we discussed visiting nearby Moorea island and the two ferry options to get there (select the white boat 😊). He showed me around the outdoor lounge and kitchen area adjacent to the pool. The area has a great view of the sky and ocean since the LODGE sits atop hills. The personal touches are things one would not receive at a standard hotel. I’d definitely recommend the LODGE to others.

A short taxi ride from downturns and the airport but our hosts made all our bookings and shops and a market were a 10 minute walk down the hill. It can be a little hot walking in Tahiti. Traffic chaotic if you come from a quiet location.

Very hard to locate the actual apartment as there are no signs and the name appears to be wrong. Lucky for us to find a lovely generous occupant who helped us into our studio apartment. Fair walk to the shops due to the property being so high up the hill but the views from our balcony was fabulous. The swimming pool was a very big plus.

When we arrived from the States, we took a taxi to Pepeete...

When we arrived from the States, we took a taxi to Pepeete for proximity to the ferry terminal (we were headed to Moorea next day). Flying back from another island in FP a few weeks later, we stayed in Faaa since we would be flying back to the States the next day. Now we know, we'd stay in Faaa on both ends and taxi to the ferry terminal if we were planning to go to Moorea next.

Faaa itself is OK.

Faaa itself is OK. It's the Royal room in the hills tgat was problematic.The room is not really as described. Seems it's run by someone else than the owner, possibly absentee house owner. Many people come and go from the Royal. One group came for a visit and occupied the terrace. They were polite and quiet but smoked, so no joining for us. The house cleaness is questionable and it appears there is more lodgers than the one the who sleep in the loft. Living room dingy with curtains closed and sofa. Underfurnished. The bedding feels cheap and polyester-like. Parking is a total headache on a narrow ledge. Finally someone came to move own car but with another motorcycle in the small place that was hardly useful. Dog poo was there, easy to step in. It's close to airport but there are nicer places to stay than here. Valley location was nice. Otherwise do not recommend this place. As to airport facility, it was easy to park a car at longterm to jump to another island for 2 days.

I spent one night in this hotel room and was very satisfied. The room was simple, but completely sufficient for a short stay. It was clean and functional, with everything you need for a one-night stay – a comfortable bed, a clean shower, and free Wi-Fi. The best part was its proximity to the airport, which made the transfer the next morning very convenient. For the price and location, this hotel offers excellent value for money. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a short stay near the airport!

Amazing hosts, they were nice, welcoming, and available to help (they were kind to pick us up from the airport). Good location if you want to fly the next morning, but also if you wish to explore the main island. They have a rental car service that makes everything very simple. Finally, there is also an amazing BBQ next to it, make sure to try it. We will stay again if we come back to Tahiti!

Very frienly hosts, a Tahitian-french couple. They picked us up from the airport. Very kind people. The swimming pool looks like in the picture but unfortunately we had no time to use it. It was a one night inly between flight and was enough for our purpose. It was a separate bedroom and bathroom inside the house.
