Many families visiting Boracay loved staying at Cocoloco Beach Resort, Sundown Beach Studios and RedDoorz Plus @ Secret Garden Boracay.
Boracay is paradise on earth with splendid beaches, azure water and relaxing vibes... Loved our stay in Shangri-La and enjoyed its private beach most of the time but do visit White beach for its white sand and pristine beauty and also to enjoy sports activities like scuba diving, parasailing and nice cafes. We loved strolling around Dmall and enjoyed some really good cafes there. Not to forget coco mamas ice cream! Going around was very easy as you get tuk tuks (open autos) to go around at a decent price.
Boracay, per se, is a place of thieves. Everything is ridiculously over-priced because most of the business owners are from Manila, NOT LOCALS. They bring all things Manila to Boracay including the prices and the thievery. I would not want to return to this place. While it is a beautiful place and the locals are nice, the entry of Manila-based business people and foreigners have soiled this place, as far im concerned. Better go to Guimaras, Panglao or Zambales (which has nice and clean beaches with better service and less sharks).
Getting to Boracay Island from the airport is a lesson in organized chaos, and the main road is currently undergoing a much needed upgrade (so expect traffic/delays). However, once you arrive at your selected hotel/resort you can begin to truly enjoy all that this wonderful location has to offer. From world class white sand beaches, to endless dining, drinking and shopping options, there is surely something for everyone to enjoy. However, it is important to remember this is a very popular location, so be prepared for crowds. If you're looking for peace and quiet, consider booking rooms on the Boracay Newcoast or splurging to stay at the Shangri-La Boracay. Otherwise, just go with the flow and enjoy the never ending people watching opportunities. Besides, you never know when you may spot a famous celebrity or two while hanging out at D'mall. During our recent stay, we were able to get a selfie with the famous comedian Jo Koy!
White Beach is clean, sand is great. There were an algae issue in station 2 and station 3. Lots of restaurants and animations. The other side of the island and the small ones you can access by boat were not so clean; some small islands were still like trash cans. Be prepared to be often cheated there (tours, boat activities) and to feel not like a person but like a walking ATM. Also, we lost hours like most of the tourists trying to get cash from the ATMs, 9 out of 10 didn't work. I wouldn't advise my friends to spend time in Boracay, or only for the beach.
The beach at hotel outside of boracay was really nice unlike white beach which is beautiful beach but totally rammed with people very tacky which is such a shame . I booked to long as after 2days I wanted to leave may suit some people but not for me
This was my second time to Boracay, I guess it was very crowded because it was Christmas time. I would definitely not recommend you to come at Christmas time. It was very difficult to find a place in restaurants, cafes and almost everywhere.
Boracay
Location!!! Best budget beachfront hotel ideal for tourists who prefer some seclusion but is still at a comfortable distance from the retail center, D Mall and docking stations for the many activities Boracay has to offer. The staff was also all very pleasant and accommodating of special requests. The Latin American kitchen and bar, Muchos, serving Zuzuni's breakfast and a wide variety of dishes that are healthy and flavorful just offered most that one can possibly crave for to choose to just stay and enjoy. The drinks are fantastic too!
Bulabog, Boracay
My stay at 7 Stones was a treat! All the staff were friendly and accommodating. I arrived quite early so decided to leave my luggage and roam around. Came back at the hotel and still had 1hr left before check in but they checked me in early since the room was ready. I had a huge bed all to myself- you can probs fit 3 people in that room easily. Wifi is great too. Location is really amazing too. It’s situated in Bolabog beach so it was a bit quiter, but a good and quick 10min walking distance to D’mall and station 2.
Yapak, Boracay
Shangri La hotel locates at the best location of Boracay Island. You can enjoy a nice shared beach and a private one. The hotel provides full service with lots of activities for you to enjoy the time there. Staff is super nice, and at Shangri la standard. Food and drinks are superb, recommended to try both Cielo restaurant and another one which provides buffet dinner. Yes, even buffet is superb. All is the best experience so far, in traveling around the Philippines.
Went to Boracay during peak season and Hey Jude South Beach is on the right side of the island for a quiet and relaxing stay away from the big crowds but still close enough to walk to the action. The room was basic but comfortable and spacious. The best part was the huge balcony facing the beach, and the awesome bar beside the property. Staff was attentive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
Bulabog, Boracay
By far the best about Boracay!!! Great relaxed place right at the beach with a very good bar/restaurant! Reminded me about how this island used to be! Unfortunately Boracay has changed dramatically. Mass-tourism has taken over at this former paradise. Trash, fast food chains and hotel ruins everywhere. Sorry, but this island just hasn’t been made for All Inclusive Folks.
Boracay
This is a perfect boutique hotel with 6 rooms that are beautifully appointed and laid out, they do not mess about with the nonsense of bottled single use water and individual shampoo and bath wash. Their focus is you the customers and how to make you feel at home. The location is perfect in boat station 1 away from the noise and bustle of station 2.
Unfortunately I had few problems with my stay, but when I asked for support the staff was amazing with us. In my opinion, the best thing about the hotel is the staff, all very attentive, helpful, especially I think his name is Aires, he always serves breakfast, his service is impeccable, smiling, helping and always asking if everything is ok well.
CLEANLINESS. COMFY BEDS! I mean for their price point, they provided way more than I expected. The beds are too comfy plus the cozy comforters :) It was situated not far from the border of Station 2. so I loved the fact that I get to see lots of gimmicks everytime I walk from and back to the hotel. It overjoyed me!
Boracay
Rooms were exactly like the pictures. Because of Covid regulations, staff provided another family suite free of charge. Shower head was so nice!! The pressure and bathrooms were like 5 star hotel type. Staff were so nice, helpful, and accommodating!! Kuya Nico lang malakas!! Will book again in the future!
Boracay
We liked where the hotel was - at Station 1 where the beachfront was wider, less bars and restaurants- quieter. The staff was courteous and attentive/helpful all throughout our stay. The room was big and the bed was comfortable.
Boracay
The Heenan Regency Hotel is located in the best center location of Boracay. Beach front. It has the best overall buffet breakfast and dinner and the hotel accomodations were excellent. Station 2 is the happening spot.
It’s clean, staff are nice and approachable when you need something. I like the ambiance it’s so cozy and a bit mysterious unlike the rest of the hotels in the island. I also like the quality of their free breakfast!
It’s classy yet the price is affordable. The best place to stay. Complimentary breakfast is absolutely delicious!!! I really love to recommend this hotel for future Boracay escapades.
Boracay
The hotel is right at the beachfront. We got our parents to enjoy the early morning scenery and coffee. They enjoyed the beach and beach strolls. The staff are so accommodating.
The best breakfast I have had since arriving in the Philippines. The hotel is just at the end of the beach so excellent access to all beach bars and resturants.. Great bathroom.
The place is good and nice It’s worth to try for few days There’s shattle bus takes you from hotel to station 2 The view of the swimming pool is very nice
Boracay
the best hotel if you’re looking to be in station 1
