The room was spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean, with a nice design and a silent 2-piece AC unit (apparently a rarity in the Philippines). The sea view from the terrace is amazing and even more so from the roof terrace where we had breakfast. Breakfast was simple, but good and clean and included eggs, toast, jam, fruits and tea, coffee or juice. We would later find out that this would be the most rich breakfast. The location is quiet, great if you want to spend your time mostly doing windsurfing or parasailing at Bulabog beach, but a bit far from the better White Beach. However, the hotel offers free transfer to the town square (D'mall), and from there it's a short walk to the beach. The staff was amazing, very kind and helpful and the receptionist greeted us with cold juice when we arrived - a much appreciated refreshment after a long trip!

The staff were warm, friendly and accomodating. The hotel was near everything, not a beachfront property but just a few minutes walk to Dmall, Bulabog, Stations 1, 2, 3. Bfast was delicious, a variety of choices offered. The beds were very comfortable. We had tvs in each of our rooms and the living room area.

I stayed in a studio with balcony. The room was large and well equipped. The TV had several English speaking movie channels. WiFi good. A/c good. Back up generator for occasional power cuts. Hot water in shower with good pressure. Small kitchenette with hotplate allowed for cooking some nutritional meals. Location is minutes from Bulabog beach for kite surfing etc, and less than 10 mins walk to D Mall and white beach station2. Neighbourhood very quiet and safe. Staff were always friendly, as are the pet dogs. I extended my stay several times as it suited me perfectly. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Rooms cleaned and linens replaced upon request. 10 out of 10.

Location,staff, the comfortable rooms, pool, small bar. I love this place, it’s a hidden gem right in the hotspot of Boracay, and so close to the beach, four lovely and sweet woman is running this place together with two male security guards/maintenance. Me and my family have been staying in Villa Sunset for many years and a dozen of times. I have always left Villa Sunset with a determination of coming back as soon as possible. I just love it there. I read a comment from an older French couple and was shocked, This is not an accurate and truthful Comment made, followed by low rating, it should be against the law to attempt to ruin somebody’s business. Villa sunset is a nice quiet lovely place and I can only give it my highest recommendation and a great thanks to the wonderful staff. During my time in Villa Sunset I have met a lot of different nationalities and made lots of new friends. This is the place to meet new friends, relaxed and family atmosphere;-)

The place is very crowded and noisy.

The place is very crowded and noisy. If you are looking for more peaceful locations, I would not recommend it. On the other hard, there is a great variety of restaurants, massage salons, activities on the beach. A good place for shopping with hundreds of stalls and shops. It's easy to buy nice ripe fruit like durian. If you're into seafood, I definitely recommend luch at Mandarin and Spa Hotel with seafood buffet option. Not to be missed.

Easy to travel island, with a very well organised transport...

Easy to travel island, with a very well organised transport system from the airport to the island itself. Great snorkel and diving opportunities, lots of fish, around the island. A broad range of land and water sports available, make sure you book a boat tour around the island and do some cliff jumping on one of the spots. Broad range of restaurants and cafes in the main area of the island. Quiet beaches with local restaurants and super friendly locals everywhere.

The best part of my trip in Boracay white beaches, island hooping, great accommodation near the beach, shopping, water activities and fantastic foods. Transport was easy to access. And lots of restaurants to choose from great location for tourists for water activities, and loving the walk in the beach from Station one to Station 3 and the night walk along the beach , night market are awesome 👌

Boracay is one of the most visited place in Philippines.

Boracay is one of the most visited place in Philippines. But if you are coming for white beach , clean water..maybe it is not the place. Water if full of algae; while white beach is an over-crowded spot where all kind of vendors and service providers don't let you relax in peace. But if you are looking for revelry, amusement, pastime, or "high jinks"- that is the place to be in.

Boracay is for Philippines what Pattya is for Thailand.

Boracay is for Philippines what Pattya is for Thailand. Lot of Pub , restaurants, etc. White beach is over crowded with tourists, locals and service provides (pun intended!!)....there are other Beaches within Boracay which are less crowded but some are filled with green algae / plant. For families who look for beautiful beach, lagoons etc..places like El Nido is better choice.

My first trip to PH was in 2024, I wasn't going to visit Boracay but did. I fell in love (despite being touristy which you can avoid if you want!) and couldn't wait to return in 2025 and wasn't disappointed!

The hotel was exceptional, amazing pools and the nicest private beach. The staff is very friendly and accomodating. The rooms arw clean and beds are very comfortable. The place has numerous cool chilling corners and (infinity) pools, restaurants and bars. It has huge green areas and it provides peace from the buzz in White beach (which is just a short bus ride away with Southwest hop on hop off bus). Everything on the island can be accessed with that bus which departs from the front of the hotel.

Everything was nice. Staffs are friendly, room was clean, view was nice. Breakfast has many options. The best thing is swimming pool, and the drinks are not expensive too. During my 3 weeks vacation in Philippines , I stayed in 8 different hotels and this one is by far the best one. Highly recommend

A top hotel within a 5 min walk to the heart of station 2. Booked for 3 nights stayed 7.. lovely staff. Big modern comfy room with a huge luxurious bed. We have stayed in many hotels in boracay and this is by far one of the best for the price .

everything! the vibe, the beachfront, my cozy room, the price of food is reasonable and taste good too. the best liempo and chicken taco in the island and most of all they got the best and cheerful staff. They are the real gem of this resort.
