Located in Busuanga, a few steps from Ocam Ocam Beach, The Beach House by Anahaw provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. This place turned out as a beautiful paradise and peaked our trip to the Philippines. The Beach House itself is stunning, located at the end of Ocam Ocam Beach and provides a very calm, relaxing and unique experience. The design is lovely and matches the scenic setting perfectly. BUT it is the extraordinary level of hospitality that would make our stay unforgettable. Both Zara and Marion are exceptionally great hosts - they have read our wishes from our lips and before we could ask for anything, it was already there. Chef Zara has spoilt us throughout our stay - since we have been there for a week we have had the chance to taste ourselves through her exceptional culinary world and we were blown away. Marion has made sure we were always entertained and taken care of. It is a level of service that we have never yet experienced - they manage to combine outstanding service that you would expect in only a few high-end 5* hotels with the cozy, family-like atmosphere of an island paradise. We have stayed at many places all over the world but this one is a true diamond. We left speechless and with many great memories - we came as guests, turned to friends and truly felt as if we‘d become part of the Beach House Family.

Set in Busuanga, within 42 km of Maquinit Hot Spring and 37 km of Mount Tapyas, AL FARO Cosmio Hotel Palawan offers accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. everything is just high standard. the staff is beyond adorable and will sort all your doubts and problems. the food was wonderful and we didn’t find it was too expensive after being in El Nido. I highly recommend their risotto and All the fishes on the menu as well as the Filipino breakfast. room 2 had the most breathtaking view over the bay, the swimming pool also has the best view. the room seemed to have everything we needed. I got a 2hrs massage there that was wonderful. they sorted our diving session with pirates diving that’s just in front and it was such a good choice. I really think the prices in the hotel are correct and worth it for this high quality service on everything.

Set in Busuanga, 45 km from Maquinit Hot Spring, Sanctuaria Treehouses Busuanga offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. We stayed in the two person tree house which although small had a great balcony with a great view. it was clean and comfortable. shared bathroom with hot shower was also clean and nicely designed. It was nice to have the pool too. Lots of hammocks for relaxing. The food was very good quality, and a small but varied menu ~ however a little pricey.

We liked Busuanga because it was relatively untouched by tourism. Where we stayed at Ocam Ocam there was a rural village community living along the beach. They were friendly and helpful and there was one restobar on the beach. The beach wasn't busy - had a very relaxed feel. It would have been a drive to the nearest town but we liked being away from it all. The beach at Ocam Ocam was gorgeous, though not for swimming as it had a long shallow reef out to the sea. We didn't see a lot of Busuanga as a whole but it felt equally relaxed and rural away from big towns.
The resort location is beautiful and the landscape simply stunning! Its a great spot for relaxing during the day, the kayaks and paddle boarding were a nice afternoon activity, although it was a shame the jet ski was out of action the whole 5 days we were there! I would recommend the day trip to the private island - ideal. Disliked · We went over CNY and were hoping to have some more variety with options for food - the resort is located 45 mins from Coron town and was an expensive excursion (we paid $60USD in taxi's to go out for breakfast one day because the one menu at the hotel had exhausted our appetite) I would suggest more evening entertainment too - to add to the atmosphere, a playlist or a live band that lasts longer than 10 minutes, something classy and relaxing. The food was a real disappointment, I felt like I was eating a children's menu all weekend not paying children's prices. The rooms were lovely and big, although a little sparse on luxury based on the rating and cost. The pool and water activities are great though, although it was a shame the jet ski was out of action all weekend!
Busuanga is a great destination mixing relaxation and adventure in an amazing natural environment of white sand beaches and intriguing islands and reefs. Highly recommend Marina del sResort and Yacht Club to stay in and as jump off for all your adventures!
Really nice place in the Philippines! It gives you many opportunities for actively enjoying your vacation :) I went for an island hoping tour - highly recommend it! Great place for snorkeling and scuba diving - there are amazing reefs to visit :)
Big resort with amazing sea view, good food in the restaurant area overlooking on the sea and near by island where you can go for a dinner in the boat from the resort. Recommended before sun set to enjoy the scenery. Rooms and bathrooms very clean, staff kind and helpful. The whole resort is a lovely place, great views, pool etc. What we were a bit shocked is the food and drinks prices are very high, in comparison on the island opposite you will pay half and in the town 1/3 of the similar dinner. Also as the resort is located nearly 1 hour from the town the transport from the resort is very expensive. Paying this kind of money for room they should include pick up and drop off to the airport. It is 1,000pesos per person where in Manila you can get grab and for similar distance pay 300-500 pesos in total. We have rented a scooter for two days and travel 50mins to the town each day. The island hopping tours prices in the hotel are also double than in the town but None of the tours booked in the town would pick you up from the resort for the tour as it is to far so I guess that adding transport it would comes to the similar cost. I would recommend this resort to people who are staying in for few days just to relax enjoy in the pool and yoga classes.
Away from everything. Sit on your verandah at night with the geckos and listen to the sounds of the jungle. Not for those who want air con, hot showers and want to interact with others. This is a totally unique and wonderful experience.
