The room was very clean, organized, good space. The location was perfect! It’s just 2 minutes walking from the Main Street. Erwen, the guy in charge, was a super host! He arranged tours for us, and gave us recommendations, and he was always very nice and helpful.

Very cozy place. Bed’s nice, they have a fridge and lot’s of freebies (from coffee, tea, to chocolate bars). The owner and the staff were also very accommodating. Would definitely come back here again.

My time at Amanzohi was nothing sort of absolutely outstanding!!  Donnah was amazing and was able to take care of all my requests.  She even helped arranged transportation multiple times, including airport transportation, and surfing lessons with one of the best instructors. It is an excellent central location in General Luna with everything you need within walking distance.  Across the street is the only restaurant open 24 hours which was great for my early morning breakfast and coffee.   The Greek restaurant next door is also a must try.  The beds are super comfortable and the room was exceptionally clean.  The private pool and shower area are a very nice touch.  A/C and a hot shower are also included which I found out when talking with other travelers that a hot shower is not something always offered.  One thing to mention is the book store across the road does karaoke which you can hear sometimes in the evening but never kept me awake or have trouble falling asleep.  Wherever you stay in General Luna you are going to hear something in the evening hours.   I will definitely be back again. Thank you Donnah and Amanzohi!!

Everyone was really nice and accommodating with any kind of request we had. Since it was not located on the Main Street it was quiet at nighttime but still close enough to everything that you could walk everywhere in 5-15 minutes. The rooms are on the smaller side but for the purpose of our travel and the price it was good.

If you are reading this review and planning to go to siargao , dont miss the chance of staying in haven suites !!!! The property is new on booking.com and has not many reviews , but …. Every thing is new and clean ! Comfortable beds ! Clean bath room ! Good environment ! Good location near tourism road ! Good access to beach , shops and restaurants ! Nice and polite staffs and finally a beautiful and helpful lady who owns the property . She stays at the hotel 24/7 and you can count on her for all you need 😊 We were lucky to find haven suites and strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice place to stay

    General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao.

    General Luna is the most touristy part of Siargao. Lots of stores, shops, restaurants around. Easily walkable, but also accessible by tricycle/tuktuk. It's a bit too busy for me as I prefer more quiet and peaceful spot for accomodation. But if you prefer to party and have the convenience of everything being close by, then Gen Luna is a good spot for you.

    One of the friendliest places in Earth. Great beaches and even greater good. Tuk tuks and trikes will take you anywhere for next to nothing and the town is walkable. Live music at dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars with Filipino Reggae being da 💣

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised...

    We stayed in the General Luna area and was a bit surprised to see how much trash and dirty areas were in the area. We were told to visit Cloud 9 and its nice for surfing, but dirty area, dirty restaurants, and very dirty streets. I would not return for the beaches or areas, but would for the surfing.

    The vibe is just right, it's laid back and touristy at the same time. There a lot of food choices and transportation options in going around the island. But the accommodations are a pricey (compared to Boracay).

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights.

    We stayed for 4 days and 4 nights. It was enough if you just want to explore the nearby spots, and go island hopping. But if you plan to really do a good long staycation, 4 days is not enough. There is still a lot we were not able to do. We both love the vibe of General Luna and Siargao as a whole. We love the island vibe and wish that it should remain as is, untouched by too much modernity.

Shout out to Trisha who made our stay so wonderful and lively. Always on the go and always smiling. Gave us real insights about Siargao. Me and my son loved her positive attitude during our stay. Highly recommended. Place also very clean and spacious with beachfront.

    Palaka Resort resides in a great location right at the center of General Luna with many restaurants and shops just a short walk away. The pool and the garden is beautiful and relaxing. The staff were very nice and helpful, we were also granted early check in which helped a lot as we had been flying the whole night. Highly recommended.
