Family hotels and homes in Sumilon Island

Everything the staff were extremely helpful, making the stay that little bit more special. The views are incredible and the sandbar is perfect for taking pictures of the sunset. There are many activities that are very reasonably priced, there are a number of free activities as well, they are all worth doing. The snorkeling and diving were both fantastic. The food was very well priced delicious and very good portion sizes with so many options. If you are looking for an amazing island get away look no further.

Staying at Emoha was so far our best experience while travelling in the Philippines. From the first step into the property we felt at ease. The resort is beautifully designed, clean, quiet, as it’s away from the main road and safe. All the facilities are well maintained, organized and well taken care of, starting from the floor of the resort up to the roof which to me looked like engineer’s masterpiece. Rooms are very specious with a big balcony and amazing view, quiet AC, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with strong water pressure and abundance of hot water, drinking water was available at the water station downstairs. Resort has a swimming pool, hammocks and you can also order massage and will be accommodated with massage beds right there in the garden with soothing sea breeze. During our stay we visited Oslob Whale Shark watching point which is 20 minutes drive away and Aguinid Falls, we went snorkelling every day and couldn’t get enough of it! Special thanks to our gracious host Lottie who welcomed us, Rafael resort's diving instructor who shared about great coral reef wonders which were just a step away from the resort, helpful and smiling girls and wonderful chef who amazed us with her cooking skills. In the future we would definitely like to stay at Emoha and can recommend it to someone who’s looking for a comfortable stay with great style.

Beautiful beach front property right next to the whale shark diving. Room was spacious and well equipped. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and could answer any questions I had. Also HIGHLY recommend getting the native hot chocolate that’s an easy 10/10.

All the staff at Southseas Beach Resort and Dive were extremely kind and helpful. They provided a free pick-up from the bus stop and also dropped us off (they even waited for our bus to arrive and loaded the luggage for us), they provided coffee & water when needed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were served at the room. The resort also had a peddle board and kayak prepared as well as various boardgames. The beds are comfortable and the room, though a tad small, was convenient with all necessities present and provided. Will absolutely return if I am visiting Santander again in the future.

What are the best spots ever is great

The place was great, you can walk from Liloan Port. The staff was super friendly. You have amazing private beachfront. Exactly what you need for a weekend away.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels we stayed. The view of the hotel was amazing, that as you exit your room, you can see the ocean in front of you and you can watch the beautiful sunset. Breakfast is not free as well as dinner but they have a restaurant, which is not expensive but high quality, we enjoyed our meals in the hotel restaurant. Room was very clean and spacious. Special thanks to hotel staff, they were very nice and helpful. In Oslob, visitors are not bound to hotels because there are many activities around. Very well known is swimming with whale sharks and this hotel is very close to this activity, less than 15 mins. Tumalog falls (10 mins) and monkey watching point (few mins) is very close too. Tumalog falls was closed because of low water level and for monkey watching you would visit earlier than 10 am. There are many waterfalls and many activities around Oslob and hotel provides assistance to all of them. It is also very close to town center too, this is important because there is a big pharmacy in case of need and a 7-eleven store in the town center, there is also a big open market, you can buy fruits. Although the hotel restaurant's food was very nice, if you want to taste something different you can try Le Bistrot Restaurant in the town center, it was very nice too, try mai mai fish with lemon and butter sauce. In order to arrive, you will get a bus from south bus terminal of Cebu, towards Oslob, it will take around 4 hours or less, and you will get off just in front of the hotel, you can return to Cebu same way, you can get the bus in front of the hotel. I think it was around 275 pesos. You can also get this bus to go to town center for 20 pesos, or you can use tricycles. The price of this hotel may be some higher than some hotels around this area, but it is a very reasonable price, and it is very clean and comfort as well as safe hotel with so friendly staff. It is a perfect choice for 2-3 nights stay in Oslob.

This was our second time at Luna Oslob Travellers Inn- Beach front. It's very homely and has everything you need. The setting is perfect with a million dollar view. With the beach just being in front is awesome. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

This is an absoutely amazing place. Firstly the garden where little tents and houses are locared is truly beautiful. Secondly, owners are super friendly, can help in everything you need. 10/10
