Islamabad is a peaceful and beautiful city with greenery, mountains, and modern lifestyle. My favorite places were Faisal Mosque, Daman-e-Koh, and Centaurus Mall. For food, Monal Restaurant in Margalla Hills was a great experience with delicious meals and amazing views. Getting around the city was very easy with clean roads and ride-hailing services like Careem and Uber. I stayed at Orion International Guest House, which made my trip even more comfortable. The rooms were clean, staff was very cooperative, and full-speed Wi-Fi with 24/7 security gave a safe and relaxing stay. For groups of friends, hiking in Margalla Hills, shopping, and visiting cultural spots are must-do activities. Overall, I loved the hospitality, the peaceful environment, and the facilities provided during my stay.

The city is beautifully planned, clean, and surrounded by the stunning Margalla Hills. It offers a perfect blend of modern amenities and natural beauty. From peaceful parks like Fatima Jinnah Park to scenic spots like Daman-e-Koh, Monal, and Trail 5, there’s no shortage of calm escapes. The people are warm and respectful, the city feels safe and peaceful, and the food options are excellent—from traditional Pakistani cuisine to global chains. With well-maintained roads, green belts, and less hustle compared to other major cities, Islamabad is ideal for both short visits and long stays. Highly recommended for anyone seeking nature, culture, and calm vibes in one place!

As a female traveler, I found Islamabad to be one of the...

As a female traveler, I found Islamabad to be one of the safest, cleanest, and most charming cities in South Asia. It’s modern yet peaceful, well-organized, and surrounded by stunning natural beauty. From morning hikes to sunset teas, the city offers a unique mix of relaxation and adventure. Margalla Hills were my favorite—Trail 5 is perfect for a refreshing morning trek with breathtaking views. Faisal Mosque is an architectural masterpiece you simply can't miss—equally serene and photogenic. For history and culture, Lok Virsa Museum and Pakistan Monument Museum offer great insights into the local heritage. One of the best ways to explore the city comfortably is the Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour. It’s safe, scenic, and super convenient for covering all major attractions at your own pace—perfect for solo travelers or first-time visitors! For outdoor fun, Rawal Lake (Rawal Dam) offers peaceful boating, picnics, and sunset views—great for a quiet afternoon. And if you're up for more excitement, head to Khanpur Dam just outside the city for water sports like jet skiing, parasailing, cliff diving, and paddleboarding—an absolute thrill in nature’s lap. Evenings are best spent at Saidpur Village, with its pretty cafes, local crafts, and scenic backdrop. I also loved the F-6 and F-7 markets—full of trendy boutiques, beauty salons, bookstores, and cozy coffee spots. Gloria Jean’s in Beverly Centre and Chaaye Khana are great for solo or social hangouts. For relaxation, I booked a spa day at a luxurious treat! And yes, the people were warm and respectful—I always felt comfortable exploring solo. Don’t miss: Sunset at Daman-e-Koh The Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour Boating at Rawal Lake Water sports at Khanpur Dam Shopping at Centaurus Mall A stroll through Saidpur Village Islamabad is a peaceful, green, and stylish city—perfect for solo women, couples, or friends looking for a calm yet adventurous getaway. I’ll definitely be back!

It is well organised, as befits a capital city.

It is well organised, as befits a capital city. Modern life and traditional culture are harmoniously blended here. Wide streets and houses with lush gardens give it a colonial feel. Meanwhile, the towering skyscrapers are not at all intrusive.

This is the nicest place I’ve stayed in Pakistan! It’s an absolute must stay if you’re in Islamabad. It’s within 5 minutes drive of the airport, the breakfast is great (and served to your room), the bed is comfortable, it’s got great facilities and the staff are beyond helpful. After travelling around, I really needed a nice place to chill before catching my flight and this place was the perfect place to do that. I really can’t rate this place highly enough. It’s better than the photos!

Start to finish this place was amazing! The host Ahmer Yar Khan was exceptional. As soon as I booked, Ahmer made contact and helped me find the location and went out of his way for my mum and son. Customer service was amazing, the place was clean, in great location and beats places like Serena Hotel. Amazing, we loved it so much we have rebooked for this Sunday. Ill be saving this place and staying here every time I visit Pakistan.

Stayed twice in this hotel for a short stay of 1 night each during my 1 week trip in Pakistan. Located in a quiet street in F8 sector, 10 mins walking distance away from Centaurus Mall with supermarket and currency exchange options. I liked the location as it is 10 mins away by car from a Carpet Market and 30 mins by car from ISB Benazir Bhutto airport. Their breakfast is simple but good and starts at 7.30am.
