Our stay at Osada Koscielisko was absolutely wonderful. The woodwork finishing in the suite is very beautiful and elegant. There are great views of the Tatra mountains across the valley to the south, and idyllic views of a field of wildflowers up the hill to the north. The location is quiet and only about 20 min to Zakopane. We went mountain biking in the Chocholowska valley, then to the hotsprings (with 20 pools!) about 7 km to the east. The built in coffee machine was great. Very peaceful and relaxing place. We would definitely rent this suite again.

I liked its easy access from the main street although we got lost to the specific location when we used the google map- but just keep the Zapka grocery store on your right hand and the street that take you to Zakopane on your left in between them there is a close ended small street go through it you will end in the apartment reception in front of you. I liked there breakfast being served in basket each morning between 8-10am I liked the apartment spacious space, kitchen with complete cookware and utensils. Very nice location (we were getting there by car, so cant rate it if we were getting by public transport) Very dicent room size, we've got our own kitchennet even. Great mountains view. The owner is very nice, speaks polish only (for us it was not an issues, since we speak russian and polish a little and could understood her) The kitchen facilities are on the ground flow, which can be an issue for some people (you need to go downstairs 3 floors) Otherwise great great!

The hostel is like a second home. It's comfortable and you can feel friendly atmosphere. Whilst I was there, I met fantastic people and made new friends. The size of the room was just right, kitchen was well equipped, Living room is big and comfy, we spent two nights there playing board games. A garden is massive, there's plenty of room for everything, such as playing outside games, swinging on a hammock, singing beside the fire or doing barbecue. Everything was ok, and I'll definitely use this place again in future.

If you're there for the mountains, Koscielisko is a good...
If you're there for the mountains, Koscielisko is a good alternative to Zakopane to which it is more or less joined anyway. The Tatry National Park is within walking distance and there are good bus connections. If you have a car you will find parking a lot easier and cheaper in Koscielisko. One slight drawback is that there is no town centre as such - shops and other facilities are dispersed all over.

It's a nice town and a little quieter to stay in, instead of Zakopane itself. So if you want to be away from the busy city, there are some nice options for staying. Also it's close to a couple different trails. The prices are also a little cheaper than Zakopane

Very close to Zakopane city center and Chochołow Termy. Buses come by frequently and it's extremely easy to travel. Amazing nature views. It's the perfect place to stay in if you want to be close to the city but doesn't like too much crowd and hustle & bustle. Will definitely recommend visiting.

The best aspect is the seclusion it provides from the touristy city centre, it has good cheap accomodations and has good walking trails and ski resorts nearby. So if you're looking to explore all the aspects of the mountains staying here is a good idea.

We were surprised by the beautiful architecture of the houses here. The use of wood gives this area a most distinctive and beautiful character. The food was delicious and of course the mountain scenery was lovely! We would have loved to stay longer (and hope to return) as the most well known walks were very crowded but there is obviously so much more to explore here!

From £75 per nightI would highly recommend you stay here. Great place to stay and an excellent location (view on Giewont and Tatra’s range from the rooms). We stayed here for six nights. The room was well presented and very clean. We had all the facilities available to us such as jacuzzi, swimming pool, saunas, and other sport activities that we used after our walks or when it was raining. The breakfast has a wonderful choice with the local delicacies which change daily. Coffee was that good that we didn’t have to go for any during our stay in the Tatras. Zakopane town centre is only a very short drive away but if you fancy some local cuisine for dinner there is a fantastic restaurant 10 minutes stroll away from the villa. Also, there are busses going every 10-15 minutes to various locations and the bus stop was situated only a couple of minutes’ walk down the street.
