Our visit to Krakow was amazing, lovely friendly, warm people, whom spoke English very well. The Hotel Columbus was lovely, very close to the Jewish quarter. Rooms were spacious and comfortable and very clean. Breakfast were very good, with plenty to choose from hot or cold food, that set you up for the day. The hotel recommended a couple of good restaurants to eat at. It was very easy to get around, we used the hop on and hop off bus, which stopped by our hotel. Lots of places to visit, we visited Shinzlers factory, amazing definatly worth a visit.
We had three full days in Krakow arriving Friday lunchtime and leaving around 7pm on Monday evening. We planned our trip booking a private tour guide - John Gale from Krakow Tour Time ahead of our visit for trips to Auschwitz & Birkenau and Wieliczka Salt Mines. We also booked John for our first afternoon a 3 hour tour of Krakow. We had great accommodation just off the north of the square in Biskupia Apartments much better than just a hotel room. On our third day we strolled around the square and surrounding streets vising St Marys church and the market hall. On our last morning we took a taxi to Schindlers Factory visited the Jewish square and walked back to the main square. Our visit was in April and we were rewarded with unseasonably sunny weather which was a bonus. We loved the city and felt we had used our time wisely. We would recommend this city to anyone although good mobility is essential to get the best out of it.
Absolutly amazing location of hotel was perfect. So cheap to eat and drink. Free WiFi. Hairdryer in room and clean towels everyday. Hotel was clean and very nice. Lift provided aswell. Very helpful an friendly.
hotel in great location to town 15 min walk very clean staff friendly helpful could get a tram into town room with balcony nice bar/garden food great very relaxing just the best tea/coffee in room luxurys
Took a trip to Auschwitz - you can't go to Krakow and not go to Auschwitz. Very moving. One thing to note is that we had to leave our bags that were bigger than A4 sized paper on the bus and it was a strictly enforced rule! Also no real time to spend on your own when you go so don't be expecting to be able to sit down and have a drink and eat if you go on a tour with other people on the bus. St Mary's Basilica was stunning but be careful not to talk in the prayer area! We ate in Italian restaurants as a big group and this fitted most peoples needs. We walked almost everywhere and used the hop on hop off buses - some of the group used the tram to come from Heroes of the Ghetto Square and said it was really easy and cheap. All the food and drink was incredibly good value for money. If going with a big group best to book a table. We ate at the Tratoria Soprano near St Anne's Church and the food, service and price was excellent. Galeria shopping centre at train station is huge. Schindlers Factory Museum has a lot of reading and is not just about Schindler but about how Krakow was affected by World War II and the Nazi invasion. It also has many personal stories from people who were detained. A couple of folk went to the Salt Mines and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We stayed at the Hotel Wielopole and the staff were excellent the location was great and good value for money. Although the breakfast area was very small and there is no hotel bar. Thoroughly recommend a trip to Krakow. :-)
it is a very pretty city, the buildings are fairy tale, the clothes shops were great, there was a large shopping centre next to the hotel (Andel's Hotel) the food and drink were a lot cheaper than at home and of good quality. Go to the salt mines it a brilliant afternoon. I went with a group of woman, I am planning to go back next year with my partner.

great location, with a wonderful breakfast! The hostel is located right on the big main square. No public transportation access, but totally worth it! Just a few minutes walk to the old town, but the center is right next to the place. Rooms are big and fully equipped with outlets, lights and lockers. Also, safes are available. Very good kitchen, if you want to make something fr yourself. Breakfast is the best I ever had in a hostel! Very good for the price.

Spacious, a stone’s throw from the main square, and easy access with key codes. The place is pretty modern, well equipped, and you get a cool view from The back balcony of the tops of the churches. Check in is easy since there is a desk for the apartments. We had our 3 year old daughter and she enjoyed having her own big girl sofa bed. Use a taxi to get here, NOT Uber since they can’t drive close to old town.

Very clean appartment, perfectly located near city centre, all within walking distance. Most kind reception by the owner. Good beds, perfect for us. (2 adults and one child 16 yrs). Shower and (small) kitchen very clean, modern and comfortable. 5*! Fine restaurant nearby: although a little bit hidden: OD JAJKA DO JABŁKA, near Best Western Hotel, few 100 meters from apt.

All the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The location of the hotel in the centre of the main square in the old Town could not have been better and its facilities were excellent. A welcome bottle of Prosecco on arrival and a complementary bottle of wine on our last day was much appreciated. Great place for couples to stay and an excellent buffet breakfast too!

Beautiful little apartment block in a street just off the Krakow old town. Everything you need close by - supermarkets, places to eat. High ceilings, big rooms, quiet, a great outlook onto a tree-lined street. A short walk to everywhere, including the main station. There's not much else you need in a hotel. I'd definitely stay again.

Great apartment. 5 minutes walk into the centre of the Old Town. And 5 minutes walk to the castle and river. Great location.. The apartment itself is very nice, modern and spacious. For a studio it's bigger than most one bedroom apartments I've stayed in.. Been in krakow many times and this by far is the best overall.

We were very pleased with the apartment. Everything looked as it does on the pictures, it was very clean and beds were comfortable. One more good thing about the apartment is its location, just 10-15 min walk from the old town/city centre. Also, we had great communication with the host. Overall, great value for money:)

Three of us stayed there on a business trip. This little family owned business is perfectly located right next to the main square in the old town. It’s simple and not a full on hotel but really well priced and super confortable Everything was really clean. Owners were kind and reactive. Very happy about the whole stay

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is out of the city centre and more towards a residential area so the noise outside was minimal. Even though it is out of the centre, there is a tram stop at the bottom of the street and it's only 6 stops from the old town which takes roughly 10 minutes.
