The modern and stylish PURO Kraków Stare Miasto is located just 1 km away from the beautiful Main Market Square. It offers accommodation with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi.

The property was strategically located across from Kraków main train station/a mall (there’s plenty to see or buy) Beautiful room with an arch window and motorized blinds. Breakfast was delicious and full of selection. The wonderful staff made the stay extra special. Everything was modern and control tablet provided in the room to literally controlling every light, switches, or your TV, to your room temperature and to call the front desk, to lower/shut your blinds and so forth. History and Beauty Combined

Poland’s jewel and its most popular tourist destination, Kraków, features many medieval, Renaissance and Baroque architectural examples. Its entire Old Town is a World Heritage Site and the rest of the city has even more to offer.

The beautiful Royal Coronation Route, traversed in the past by the Kings of Poland, allows you to see the stunning Cloth Hall, standing proudly at the Main Market Square, the 15th-century Barbican, and St. Mary’s Basilica with the world’s largest Gothic altarpiece and the amazing Wawel Castle.

The picturesque streets of the Kazimierz district have Jewish-themed restaurants, bookstores and small shops. Stylish cafés can be found all over the city and trendy restaurants serve delicious polish cuisine. Upscale bars and exciting clubs are the centre of Krakow’s vibrant nightlife.

If you want to get away for a day, make sure you see the stunning Wieliczka Salt Mine, built in the 13th century and featuring an entire altar carved out of rock salt! Or breathe some fresh air in Poland’s highest mountains, the Tatras, just a short drive from Kraków.

Enjoy Krakow, but after 5 trips feel we have seen enough and after all there are other places to go. Would definitely recommend a visit to the Schindler List museum which has a permanent exhibition of regarding the 5 year occupation of Poland and Krakow in particular. Also recommend a walk around Market Square/Cloth Hall, Wavel Castle, the Jewish Quarter and trips out to Auschwitz and the Salt Mines (both easily achievable yourselves via train or service bus).

I have been to Kraków several times before but this was the first time I visited in winter. The Christmas markets were fantastic, particularly in the Market Square. It was really festive with the snow, although the city still functioned really well. There’s so much to do in Kraków. Went to the Ethnographic Museum and the Museum of Engineering and Technology, both of which were surprisingly engaging, and a return trip to Rynek Underground and MOCAK, as well as St Mary’s Basilica, the gorgeous Franciscan church, and other things I showed my friend, who was a first-time visitor. We also took a day trip to Katowice, which was odd but we enjoyed it and I walked out to Krakus Mound and the Liban Quarry, while my friend went to the Schindler Factory. Most of the food we ate came from the markets and street food stands (such as the Judah in Kazimierz and Plac Nowy) this time, although we had very good breakfasts in Milkbar Tomasza and in Cakester opposite, when it was full, and pizzas from Placek Wolnica. We went for beers in CK Browar and T.E.A Time. The transport system is cheap and easy to use, although much of the Old Town and Kazimierz are pedestrianised, so you’ll often end up doing a bit of walking. Nice and flat in Kraków, though.

We didn't do the normal tourist trips.

We didn't do the normal tourist trips. We just soaked up the atmosphere of the main square and wandered for hours round the town enjoying the history and all the stunning building. Did go to the Christmas market and enjoyed a concert at one of the chapels. Wandered along the riverside. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from so you will never be short of choice. They are very fond of there cakes and pastries as there are loads of bakeries, not great for your waistline.

Lots of really interesting stuff to do but best to pre-book as its very busy. It's easy to get around by train, tram or bus. We used the train from the airport and out to the Salt Mines. Its cheap, very clean and comfortable and runs on time. Great restaurants catering to all tastes. Had a superb Turkish breakfast one morning and lovely evening meals in a restaurant called 20 - mixture of Polish and other cuisines. We also ate at the restaurant inside the Salt Mine - 135 metre below ground.

Radisson quality as expected - clean, newish rooms, professional staff and a mediocre breakfast. There is a nice gym and sauna freely available for all guests and you can request a room with a bath tub. Even though the location isn't exactly in the city centre, tram and bus stops are located just in front of the hotel. You can conveniently take the tram to old town or railway station and bus to the airport. There is also a convenience store next door.

The location is exceptionally good being out of the crush around the main square but within easy walking distance or short tram ride of the city centre. There are numerous restaurants and cafes in the neighbourhood, a couple of excellent ones within 50m of the hotel front door. The 24-hour reception desk is a bonus for a small hotel, making our late night arrival easier than dealing with door codes and key boxes, etc.

The hotel isn't too far from Krakow City Centre, and is close to the beautiful river. From the hotel the city is easily walkable, but far enough that you aren't forced into the crowds. There's a grocery store near and many kiosks/restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The area felt very safe even at night. The hotel was very good for the price. Hotel still uses a lock and key so be sure to lock your room!

Hotel is located at 15 min walking distance to old town, main train station, shopping mall as well as Schindler’s factory. Lovely location, very close to the city centre, about 10 min walk to the Old Town and 20 min walk to the Castle. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing that I was not used to was the tea and coffee not being in the room and had to walk downstairs to the front desk to the coffee, but probably for the best so to avoid wastage. Other than that, highly recommend, 10/10.

Great location, super close to the main square in the old Town, yet in a silent street. Breakfast was ok; since it is an aparthotel, they didn't have a buffet; instead they would bring a nice assortment of food for breakfast, that could be chosen amongst 4 different options. Best thing was how spacious was the apartment, with nice furniture and bed, for a good price.

Well appointed, grand hotel in a fabulous location in the centre of Krakow old town - everything within easy walking distance, including the rail station. Considering it's on a busy street there is no internal street noise and certainly wasn't in our bedroom on the first floor. Lovely restaurant that's definitely worth at least one try for a dinner.
