One of the best cities in Europe.
One of the best cities in Europe. I've been many times and it never ceases to amaze me. It feels safe and it is extremely clean too. Travel from the airport by train is quick and cheap. Divine Mercy sanctuary a must go if catholic, but also Auschwitz to understand the history of the area compared to today. Transport is really easy, but you must plan or you can get lost. There are countless restaurants and tourists will have no trouble finding good international cuisine, in addition to local Polish specialities. This was my first visit but it won’t be my last! I had no idea that Krakow is so beautiful! It’s steeped in history, and every street in the old town is full of magnificent facades. The town square is amazing - full of cafes to sit and watch the world go by. If you like Vienna, you will love Krakow! The old castle is worth visiting. The city has many, and very diverse, churches. We ate dinner in Le Tre Sorelle restaurant and were very pleased with the meal which was really delicious.
