It felt like visiting relatives - the family is very sweet and helpful, and they make a lot of the breakfast fare themselves, which all tastes fantastic! Be aware that the senior generation does not speak English, only a little bit of German, but you'll be fine if their daughter is there, who speaks very good English. Also be aware that this is literally a bedroom in their home, with adjacent bathroom. It still felt very private, though, since they don't use that bathroom themselves. They provided us with wonderfully fresh towels and treated us to some delicious homemade cake when we arrived 😊 The home is also spotless in terms of cleanliness, and the bedroom, which is under the roof, is cozy and warm, and the bed is very comfy. It's very nice and quiet, since it's in the outskirts of the city, and it's also safe to park in their fairly large courtyard that they close at night. Overall, we've had a delightful experience, better than in some high-end hotels 🙂
