This was such a fantastic stay! Our host was so responsive, informative, and kind, we felt so taken care of during our whole stay! The view is so gorgeous, and the location is unbeatable. My partner and I commute by walking, and we were able to walk to some gorgeous beaches, parks, snorkeling spots, explore Old San Juan, and eat at many delicious restaurants all within easy walking distance. While some other guests complained about the loud AC, for me, I found the sound at night super soothing and helpful to fall asleep to, and didn't find it too loud during the day either at all.

I had an excellent stay at The Red Door Inn. The property is charming, well-kept, and thoughtfully designed. The room was comfortable and spotless, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax. The staff were warm, attentive, and made the experience feel personal from start to finish. I genuinely loved staying here and would happily return.

Just DON’T stay at the San Juan Airport Hotel. It was the WORST value for money hotel I’ve ever stayed at. ( plus the internet didn’t work, no hot water, and half the lights burned out). It is the only airport hotel, so they JUST DONT CARE!!)

Old San Juan is a beautiful place!

Old San Juan is a beautiful place! Many old forts and blue cobblestone streets with many bars and restaurants made it a great venue to visit! Uber and taxis made it very easy to commute to airport or cruise port.

It has all you need and more A culture that makes you feel young Meet the locals which they always willing to help Piñones has safe areas to swim safely (please be mindful of rough see)and a vast variety of local food Salsa classes available Great for pictures/fotos Restaurants available 24 hrs Casinos have nice atmosphere n GOOD clubs Ate at Bad Bunny’s Restaurant LALAs twice upscale dinning You need to visit Lalas Rest at mall Biking trails Running trails

San Juan is a wonderful place to visit.

San Juan is a wonderful place to visit. I felt safe to walk the main streets even at night. Food is delicious and people are friendly. It's frustrating, though, to have to smell marijuana constantly on the streets. If people are going to do that, they should be respectful of those who don't, especially families with children. It's not fair that we have to be exposed to it. Authorities should take that into consideration, or San Juan could be ruined as a tourist location.

We were pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get around with Uber. One of our Uber drivers recommended a restaurant, La Garita, which is difficult to access & is in a bit of a sketchy neighborhood (La Perla). Another Uber driver took us all the way there. Otherwise we would have needed to take a long flight of stone steps off of Calle Norzegaray, down to Calle Lucila Silva, & possibly would have never found the restaurant. La Garita serves delicious Puerto Rican food & offered incredible views of the ocean from our table. Lots of roosters walking around in La Perla! The culture in Puerto Rico is a bit formal, & respectful of the elderly. Most but not all speak at least some English. I got several chances to use my high school Spanish, making small purchases in stores etc. There is a fantastic Oriental restaurant called Rakuten at the corner of Avenida Magdalena & Condado. Husband had garlic shrimp & I ate pineapple chicken. For dessert I had cheesecake that melted in my mouth. There is an entertainment spot called Distrito T-Mobile where we went on our February trip to San Juan. It's geared for young families with children, not for old folks like us though! 🍍

San Juan was easy to navigate by car service. The folks were super friendly everywhere you went. Old San Juan is a fun area to visit with its plethora of shops and restaurants and beautiful architecture. The sites are picture worthy. Plenty of accommodations to fit a variety of budgets. And the food is super tasty too.

This is a fabulous place run by people who really care. The room exceeded my expectations in size, cleanliness and comfort. The jacazzis on the roof terrace and free coffee to hand were a great bonus. And the location in funky Santurce is hard to beat if you’re interested in San Juan away from the beaches and old town (although both are near enough to enjoy). I can’t recommend Metro Art Hotel highly enough.

First things first the view is amazing from the room. The infinity pool is right on the beach and also amazing. The Hotel is located in a perfect spot. The hotel is in walking distance from everything or a 10min Uber ride. They also have motorized scooters everywhere.
