The hotel is in a peaceful location, the staff were very welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, and the staff were helpful with my requests, including helping me charge my car, which I really appreciated.

Our host welcomed us with a nice array of jams, fruit, and a bottle of wine. The property is absolutely perfect. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and very clean. We were welcomed to use their common areas, which was nice when we decided to have a down day from exploring. We would highly recommend this place to couples or families with young children. It is well located for those people that want to explore Coimbra and Piodao and have a car. It is located in a very friendly and safe village. What really makes it is how friendly and helpful the owner is.

This is an extraordinary place, spacious, lovely outdoor space, attentive staff, great parking with AC. The breakfast is more than you can eat and was a great value. The free water, bottle of local wine and coffee was also a warm welcome. Extra towels for the clean pool. Nice gym, game room and cooking facilities. Our room had a small refrigerator as well. We stayed in the North African Room. Close to Ecopista Dao.

This is a beautifully designed/remodelled hotel. The common areas are comfortable and the room was large, very clean, and super quiet. Breakfast was plentiful, including freshly prepared eggs, and the ladies serving were lovely. Our bikes were securely stored in a garage a few streets away. There is a cafe right next door and a few restaurants nearby.

    The location of the hotel right on the river, boasting amazing views all around. The large room Windows and the balcony overlooking the river. Staff was genuinely nice and warm, and attentive, quick to respond. Everyday we had a complimentary large bottle of water in the room. The pool is great to catch some sun, swim and relax. The restaurant is very good. One of the evenings it was warm enough, so we had di ner outside, overlooking the river. It's priceless.

    Hotel had a good feel - not too big/small. Room was great, clean & with view (balcony) over water. Staff were friendly & helpful & having dinner at hotel was a big bonus given we had a long cycle to get there. Evening meal was good (I had pork cheeks & was great); breakfast was great. Excellent place to stop on our route South & good value for the quality of stay. They stored our bikes safely in the (shut out of season) toilets next to the pool.

    the location the room the nice small spa and the view were great the food was very good and high quality the staff were very friendly and helpful we especialy liked the professional and highly efficient waitress at the evening dining and also the friendly reception staff in all it was the best hotel in our 9 day visit to portugal

    The hotel is located in a beautiful, idyllic area of natural surroundings! The hotel is of a high standard. The rooms are wonderful and extremely clean. There is free and secure private parking. The rooms on the first floor offer amazing views.
