Some bridges with different coloured light cross the Sado river, joining the two halves of the town, and give a touch of magic to the town during the night. Alcacer do Sal is a lovely place to spend a relaxing break. There are numerous restaurants/cafes/bars. There are places of interest to visit, for those interested in history and archeology. Alcacer do Sal is a lovely place to visit. The narrow streets are great to explore. A pleasant walk along the Sado and stopping for coffee at one of the many cafes/bars is very relaxing. There are many good restaurants to choose from and staff are friendly and helpful.Guest review byanneFrance

Very quiet and peaceful location - loved seeing the light and fog over the rice fields in the morning and listening to the birds. Isabelle has done a wonderful job of converting an old rice barn - keeping the old details but updating with modern and fresh decorating. Nice common area to relax during the day or evening. Located in a calm and silent neighborhood, a few minutes by car from the centre of Alcácer do Sal and 30min from the beach. There are also a couple of supermarkets in a short distance by car.
