This was the best hotel we stayed in during our trip in Portugal. The room was renovated, the beds were comfy and the bathroom modern and very clean. The owner was very friendly, location was perfect. Breakfast was standard but good. There is free parking on front of the hotel.

Breakfast was great, I loved it. There was a variety of fruits, cereals and other continental food , drinks and baked cakes available.

From the road the house is easy to miss but once you walk through the gate it is like entering a secret garden..an oasis of tranquility. The breakfast is freshly prepared and delicious, the views are amazing and the atmosphere that Sara creates for her guests is like a home away from home. Highly recommend.

Located in Alijó, Quinta da Salgueira is a converted stable set within vineyards. The property features views of the mountains and it is 12 mi from Vila Real. Our hosts were warm and kind. Our anniversary dinners was yummy and Francisco and Christina made it so special. Papi and Pipa were so much fun! The views were beyond beautiful! We loved the tour of the wine making process, complete with chocolates and tastes. Did we mention the warm bread Francisco brought each morning? We felt pampered and relaxed- the very best ending to our month in Portugal!! 10 stars!!!

Located in Alijó, Encostas da Baronesa offers a terrace with mountain and pool views, as well as a seasonal outdoor pool, sauna and hot tub. Amazing house with an incredible view. No neighbours close by that could see or hear our group. Nice breakfast got delivered every morning.
