I loved everything about the hotel. It is a beautiful large farmhouse with amazing view. The guests can use the living room with a great balcony. Parking is easy. The walk to the suspencion bridge starts right in front of property. The lady serving breakfast is amazingly kind (despite not having common language, we communicated with smiles).

It’s an awesome place to stay if you are heading to the 516 bridge. I love that this hotel is actually a huge house. Plenty of common space, comfortable bed, air conditioning. The staff was helpful, even if we came quite late. The breakfast was great.

The location was perfect for us. We were able to explore the geopark & the Paiva River, extraordinary area, loved the small village, really able to get away & enjoy the peace & quiet. The first time we have ever slept in a place that has no noise at night. Really amazing!

    Alvarenga is famous for longest suspension bridge in the world. Great experience to cross it. Also has nice walking trail along the river. Unfortunately due to high temperatures we could not walk through.

    Beautiful area with plenty of routes for walkers.

    Beautiful area with plenty of routes for walkers. Great for outdoors and nature lovers. Very interesting geology and cultural visits options. Restaurants offer top quality local meat, but that's very much it. Plan for your own cooking if you are hoping for some variety in your diet while in the area.
