The room had lots of space with 2 bathrooms. There was a fridge provided in a lounge area. The shower was powerful and the wifi was good. There was an outdoor pool, which we didn't use as we arrived late at night and left very early. Ample parking.

The most beautiful small village in Algarve. Villas are exquisite! We had a villa with a sea view and it was the best view one can imagine. Every morning arround 7:15 the sun would rise behind the hill and we were looking at it while having a morning coffee. The resort is beautiful, very clean and well organized. You have a free buggy at your service to get you to the beach, restaurant, market... Salema beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in Algarve, we liked it even more that Praia di Marinha. Everything is close, up to 1 hr drive so you can sightsee whole Algarve easily. The best stay ever!
Featuring a garden and views of garden, Salema Eco Camp - Sustainable Camping & Glamping is a recently renovated campground situated in Salema, 1.8 km from Salema Beach.

This is a great part of Algarve to explore
This is a great part of Algarve to explore
It's a bit more wild and with a more local vibe then you may get nearer to Faro. The beaches are more wild as well, with rock cliffs and caves. The towns are smaller, though still can be a bit touristy in the high season. If you like sports like cycling or surfing then this is the part of Algarve to visit. The downside is that it seems the weather can be a bit more unpredictable, and is definitely more windy than closer to Faro.
