The price and location are definitely the best from this resort to point out. View to the ocean and the infinity pool (with salted water) are the reasons why I chose this hotel. Cleaning is good and the staff is also great and show simpaty. Definitely would recommend for a family with children. Near the pool, there is also a jacuzzi, which is a big plus.
Didn't try the restaurant, and neither other facilities. Parking is easy, and once again, the location itself is perfect if you have a rental car. The room has two aircos, which is offcourse great. The sunset view is also amazing here at the pool. So, for a couple, I would advise this resort also.
It has, by the way, another pool just by the sea 200/250 meters from your room, which is also nice, but we didn't use it too much.

The house was exactly what we needed, perfect for two families. We had enough space and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped and the BBQ was brand new. Nothing was missing. Very clean, inside premises and the surroundings. The terrace is large and you can see the ocean.

We loved our 1 week stay at this lovely boutique hotel. The staff were truly professionals, friendly and kind. They checked on us regularly and communication was easy via WhatsApp. They all deserve a 10!
The hotel itself is beautiful, tastefully designed and with a tranquil vibe. The pool, though small, looks over the ocean and offers the perfect relaxation with an alcoholic drink.
Though the room wasn't what we were hoping, it was nice to have a small kitchen - we find it very useful.
We also appreciated the evening ritual where they brought some nice herbal tea to our room.
Breakfast was lovely too.

this hotel was far from the airport or anything else for that matter, if you had to walk so a car is a necessity, and although the hotel had amenities like restaurant (only open for breakfast with the same breakfast every day) and vending machines (which if you could find a working one was empty( best piece of advise is find a grocery store, the island living is the best but it does take some getting used to if your from North America.

Stunning location.
Incredible volcanic scenery.
Wonderful wildlife.
Great bars and eateries up the hill in Agua do Pau.
Speeding Traffic in the area a major problem.
Roads very dangerous, particularly after dark.
Illicit drugs openly available close by if that's your thing, probably contributing to the road safety issues.
