The services offered were wonderful. Nice, large clean room and beds and pillows were good. Bathrooms well maintained and clean. Breakfast offered a good range of cooked, baked, cold buffet. Staff at reception very helpful and professional. The hotel is attached to a nice little mall next door, supermarket and gift/clothes shops. Very easy walk to the sea and other restaurants.

Everything. Most importantly the great team of staff members and volunteers who provide support whenever you need it. While the volunteers are mainly great for the vibe inside the hostel and among guests, the founding team provides extraordinary support in regards to surf spots (how to approach them, when to go there, what to be careful with, etc.), traveling Lisbon and the area around. I have even seen some of them giving language support to a language student who was studying. You can book theoretical and practical surf classes with local legends from Carcavelos. This place is as close to perfection as it gets. Seriously, if you want to stay in the Lisbon area and explore not only downtown Lisbon but the area around as well, go here. The place is located in the perfect spot, close to public transport, with easy highway access, the beach not even 5 minutes away... Everything was clean and well-maintained, it is obvious that some passionate people put all their heart into this project. Here you will not feel like in one of these hostel factories that have popped up all over the globe, where young guests get put into a cheap location for cheap money. However, it is the contrary. Some young and nice locals fulfil their own dream to run a hostel - and they live that dream to the fullest. Have never been welcomed to a surfspot with such warmth and care. Thank you for everything, we will meet again soon!

The welcome was very warm, Maria (the host) was very kind and helpful. This is a small apartment in a Building next to a beautiful park. It was quiet and peaceful, although you can hear birds from the park from early hours in the morning, but that did not bother us at all. The apartment was clean, with beautiful and spacious bathroom. It has a small terrace overlooking the park, so it was very pleasant spending time there with your morning coffee. The room itself is small, but we mostly spent time outside. Bed is comfortable, two people can easily sleep there. The sheets and towels were changed once during our nine days stay, and whole apartment was thoroughly cleaned once too, which was enough. You could also do it yourself with available cleaning supplies. There was also a welcoming gift - fruits and water, which was nice. There is a microwave in the apartment and also a kettle and a fridge, but no stove, so the options for food preparation were limited. But, you have a big Continente supermarket just across the street from the building, which is very well supplied and there are a lot of options for food, even a great Sushi market, with freshly prepared sushi. There is a 20 minutes walk to the Carcavelos beach, which is beautiful! The train station is around 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment and there you can take a train to Cascais, or to Lisboa. The tickets for Lisboa were just a little above 2 euros, it takes 20 minutes to get to the city. Uber and Bolt are also available and favorable options. All in all, we had a very pleasant stay and would go there again, for sure!

    It's becoming too crowded, and it is no longer safe at night on the beach or the promenade. Prices have gone up a lot in restaurants and cafés, and most of the time, the quality of the food and service doesn't justify it. Another nice place lost to the excess of tourism.

    Comfortable and stylish in a quiet residential area of Carcavelos about 20 minute walk to a lovely beach (or a 6 minute cycle on electric bikes kindly provided by Manuel and Susana). Near the train station to Lisbon or Cascais. Nice outdoor area and a good bar just across the road for breakfast. We were only here for 2 days to attend an event but could have stayed much longer. Highly recommended.

    A very perfect accommodation experience!

    A very perfect accommodation experience! 300 meters from the beach, very good WiFi, newly renovated house, very clean! I drove here, I didn't expect that there were more than 20 cars parked in the yard, the breakfast was very rich, each room has free coffee capsules, for me I really like it! The service staff is very good, there is a general private hospital 5 minutes walk nearby! It is really the best choice for vacation and business travel!

    Not very often do I review. This time is necessary.

    Not very often do I review. This time is necessary. Do not stay, there are too many better options. If the location is important. Still don't stay. Its not an hostel. 7pm check in. After a long flight no were to drop your luggage, never heard of a hostel that doesn't accommodate travelers. Don't go. There are cheaper and better hostel. Don't let the photos fail you. Not even the pool. Its just a shell. DO NOT STAY THERE.

    Rooms were clean, with daily maid service, pool was lovely except for it being very cold but it was April, staff were helpful, fruit and bakery options at breakfast were nice, beach beautiful and close by. The shopping centre attached to hotel was a bonus, the market and food outlets were great. The spa was nice, it gave us something to do on the day it was cold outside, does require €10 payment and you have to wear a bathing cap but well enjoyed, lovely bar/lounge with fantastic staff Egor being the main one, helped us so much.

    Lovely guesthouse with basic but comfortable prices. Lots of towels and a small but functional bathroom. Good sized family rooms with bunk beds. Good continental breakfast. Some rooms have a terrace with sunbeds. There is also a small garden and swimming pool. Well situated close to a small shopping centre with a supermarket. 5 mins walk to the beach. Half the price of nearby hotels. Staff are very friendly and speak excellent English. It's a charity so money spent helps it.

    Great location, a short walk from the beach, restaurants, and small shopping mall with grocery store. Lisbon, Sintra and Cascais are all within 30 minutes drive. The apartment is tastefully renovated and spacious, each of the 3 bedrooms has a private bathroom. Each bedroom, plus the living, all have airco - which is mostly not necessary because the appartment is naturally quite cool, but was handy during some days of exceptional heat. The host is very nice.

    A beautiful building located only 5/10 walk from Carcavelos beach. Very welcoming and helpful staff. The cleanest hostel I have ever stayed in. They have great facilities and a delicious breakfast.
