Our host welcomed us with a nice array of jams, fruit, and a bottle of wine. The property is absolutely perfect. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and very clean. We were welcomed to use their common areas, which was nice when we decided to have a down day from exploring. We would highly recommend this place to couples or families with young children. It is well located for those people that want to explore Coimbra and Piodao and have a car. It is located in a very friendly and safe village. What really makes it is how friendly and helpful the owner is.

This is a beautifully designed/remodelled hotel. The common areas are comfortable and the room was large, very clean, and super quiet. Breakfast was plentiful, including freshly prepared eggs, and the ladies serving were lovely. Our bikes were securely stored in a garage a few streets away. There is a cafe right next door and a few restaurants nearby.

If you care for a stunning, comfortable, quiet and hospitable place in the Coimbra area of Portugal, this place will give you it all and more. The room and facilities were sparkling clean, the room was delightfuly decorated and the views are spectacular. The bed was comfortable, and the room is equipped with a little fridge, coffee machine and cups and even lovely little treats to go with it. All done with love and attention. Johanna and Michael were such wonderful hosts. Alwalys communicative and served us a wonderful loving breakfast. Honestly, we felt pampered like in a fancy hotel but with the warmth of a home.

Sofia’s and André’s beautiful cabin is the perfect place to stay for a couple looking for peace and quiet, with chickens, sheep and doggies. It has everything you need to thrive. Sofia Andre were extremely accommodating and helpful in every way, they didn’t hesitate to assist us with anything we needed. They even offered to clean the cabin during our stay. Andre would kindly set up the fire for us to BBQ when we needed it and we had nice chats. With all my heart, I highly recommend this absolutely stunning place.
