My family has been going to this hotel for almost 40 years. I haven’t been there in 29 of those, but had so many wonderful memories. The renovations made to the hotel has kept it as one of my absolute FAVORITE. Perfect location, wood floors, so no nasty carpets, wonderful staff and the breakfast was delicious!
Can’t wait to go back!

Espinho is a great City but there needs to be an upgrade of abandoned properties which ruins the overall good feeling of the City. Location is great for going to Porto, Santa Maria De Feira or Carcavelos.

Great location with a wonderful beach and good views out to sea. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Good range of quality restaurants and bars. Great for walking along the promenade and / or beach morning or evening, I especially enjoyed the quiet and peace in the mornings before breakfast. I wouldn't call it a right place for tourist.The only decent thing there is a beach. However we were missing normal amenities you would expect to find on proper beach like toilets and changing cabins,e.c. It's a relatively quiet seaside town on a main railway line...
It's a relatively quiet seaside town on a main railway line so it is easy to go into Porto if you want or indeed, take the train South to perhaps Coimbra or Lisbon. The town itself has just little shops so don't expect huge supermarkets. You will have no trouble finding all that you need.

We had secure bicycle parking. Very comfortable bed, clean new bathroom and shower. There was an outdoor space in a patio outside our room plus a patio out front with ocean view. The buffet breakfast was outstanding. Friendly staff. We stayed only one night and would have stayed longer but were concerned about possible rain.
