We loved the town and the efforts gone to celebrate Christmas. We also highly recommend the restaurants we visited and the friendly and helpful staff. In particular the staff at the cafe KIMBO who went out of their way to help when I left my phone there!

Greate place to visit on a weekend, and escaping the agitation of by cities. I recommend being saturday morning in Estremoz and enjoy the market that happens on saturdays until lunch time. In the market you can find many fresh foods. The variety of cheeses is good.

It was a nice town and had a restaurant that we never got around to because it was raining and we ate at the one 50 years from castle reception area. Its a great spot to use as a base as we went to Elvas (great castle and square), Evora, Vila Vicosa from here and returned. You could also do several other towns.

Typical Portuguese historic city, so if history, castles, churches and monuments are your remit/bag then Estremoz has a lot to offer. It also has a marble quarry/hill on its outskirts that makes it Europes 2nd largest marble producer apparently, interesting or is a blot on the landscape? We thought not but reserve full judgement.

Serene. Interesting. Quirky. Clean. Friendly. Good food.
Serene. Interesting. Quirky. Clean. Friendly. Good food. Nice places to stay. Beautiful scenery. Combination of lot of 'old' and a small amount of 'new'. A bit of a climb in areas, but well worth it!
Our short stay was a real delight. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with vinyards, olive and cork tree groves, both the hotel and the local area was perfect to slow down the pace, and spend some time relaxing, having a bit of fun, and disconnecting. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and welcoming, with a lovely breakfast with some homemade treats. We had a family room and were delighted to find a small kitchen area in it including a fridge. Oh and we loved the pool table!
Breakfast was excellant, lots of choice of natural, fresh & local products. We ordered a lunch upon arrival, sandwich & salad that was huge & delicious prepared by host that brought it to our room patio! Garden space between rooms units & pool was wonderful, beautiful contemporary design overall, little fountains for each private room unit patio. Hosts were so helpful in suggestions & reserving restaurants for dinner in Estremoz.
One of the most beautiful hotel rooms we’ve stayed in, attention to detail is impeccable while still having a laid back atmosphere. The owner Ruben, has a fantastic eye for design, as well as delicious food. All staff were very friendly and helped us organise activities and restaurant visits during our trip. Highly recommend this hotel.
Christina is very thoughtful and nice.. she gave us recommendations of places to visit and she has everything in the house from books to playing cards. The house is also very beautiful and clean. It is well located, not so far from the city center, very near to the castle and has a nice view. We definitely recommend this place !
This was a delightful gem in Estremoz. The staff was wonderful and the chef is passionate and super kind and friendly. breakfast was wonderful and we were sad not to be able to be there when they were open for dinner. We were there during the off season in January, so the town was quiet. Beautiful little city.
The hotel is fabulous. The staff were outstanding, Our room was excellent with ample room and amenities. The breakfast was delicious with all the delicacies one could possibly want. We enjoyed the surrounding area with multiple trips to visit the wineries. We had fun!
The staff came out of the hotel, greeted us, helped us park our bikes and carry our gear upstairs. From the moment we arrived the staff did their upmost to make our stay enjoyable. This 2-star hotel was better than many 3-star we've had on this trip. Enjoy!
This hotel was a good break spot as I had been driving long distances. It was cheap, warm, comfortable, hot shower and in the right place with regards to my journey. The price included coffee and a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast
The location is at the center. Yo ucan go around main historical areas on foot.
Nearby restaurants and parking free in the street in front of the hotel.
Staff very friendly
Room size is big. Balcony at the last floor. CLass!
Excellent location in an historic castle. The staff is very nice and helpful (like everywhere in Portugal so far in our trip)
Breakfast is superb and the premise is fantastic.
One more memorable stay in Portugal!
It looks like the hotel will be amazing once it's finished the renovation work.
It was comfortable and good value and the breakfast was very nice.
The staff spoke English and there was plenty of parking.
Our favorite place in Portugal. Gracious hosts, beautiful house and pool, comfy beds and amazing breakfasts.. Close to town with incredible restaurants. Our second visit and we hope to visit again.
Gorgeous, very spacious, and comfortable hotel in absolutely central location. Great restaurant and amenities. Walking distance from everything. I highly recommend this place. Absolutely gorgeous!
The owner of the hotel is kind. Even the restaurant has a thing that you should really try if you want to travel into Portugal. Just for the restaurant the experience worth the hotel
