Very clean, well organized, with all amenities I can think of (perfectly maintained swimming pool, fully equipped kitchen etc.). The host Julio is kind, careful, and very friendly. We felt like somebody was taking care of us, even guessing our needs.

Excellent property, comfortable and cozy, clean and tidy which has made my 2 weeks memorable. I had a great view from the balcony to start my day with a coffee. Location is on one of the main pedestrian roads leading from the river. Super close to all coffee/bars/food. Christina runs the shop downstairs and is kind, smart and witty. She gave us great tips for around town since we took a rest day from the Camino here. Most beds we have in Portugal are hard but her beds were luxurious us and soft. This house has private rooms with a communal, well equipped kitchen and a washing machine (free to use) Highly recommended

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Mercearia da Vila in Ponte de Lima. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the charm and warmth of this beautiful building right in the heart of the town. The location couldn’t be better, just a 2 min walk to the historic centre, the river, and plenty of lovely restaurants and cafes. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful decorated with a perfect blend of modern amenities and traditional touches. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, we slept so well each night.

We had booked the downstairs with three bedrooms. We also had use of the shared kitchen and living room. We decided to eat in that night and cooked a great dinner. The place is well stocked.

Excellent instructions were provided as to location and access. It was close to bars and restaurants but not close enough to have problems with noise. Very clean!
