The staff took great care of us. They upgraded our room to the top floor which provided an amazing view. They provided free wine and treats. The lounge was always well stocked with other treats and drinks. The buffet had good food, but the coffee was 'meh' as it was from a machine. Best of all there was a grocery next door and a pharmacy near by to get whatever you needed.

This is a busy hotel in a non-tourist neighborhood which was fine for our last night in Lisbon. The room was large, clean and comfortable with a balcony. Breakfast offered quite a variety appealing to many cultures. We felt safe walking in the evening and enjoyed a delicious dinner in a Portuguese restaurant. There is a shuttle to the airport but we took an Uber.

Built on seven hills facing the Tagus River, charming Lisbon is one of the oldest cities in the world. It showcases unique tram rides, intimate Fado performances, great dining venues and much more.
The city is famous for its districts: Belem's famous monuments; Alfama's labyrinth of streets, bars and small shops; and trendy Alcantara's docks. Lisbon’s most popular nightlife and shopping venues are in Bairro Alto, while the traditional heart of the city beats rhythmically in Baixa.
Enjoy a walk through Jardim Botanico, admire the architecture of the Jeronimos Monastery or explore the Feira da Ladra flea market. The Chiado area serves the city's best traditional Portuguese cuisine. No meal is complete without the famous pasteis de nata!
Getting to the city center is only a metro or bus ride from Lisbon Portela Airport. Whether you want a luxury hotel, a friendly guesthouse or a cozy apartment, Booking.com has plenty of accommodations for your vacation in Lisbon.

We came mostly for the fado music - we would attend to both an yearly festival and tour the most traditional fado houses in town. Obviously, we could hardly be disappointed on this. Walking tours might be great, nevertheless, the city is as steep as it gets, so it is not an activity for those with weak legs or shortness of breath.
Keep in mind that Lisbon is not Paris or London, it ranks far below in tourist attractions, some of them quite useless. Think low profile and don`t expect more than it has to offer.

Lisbon is an incredible city full of surprises.
Lisbon is an incredible city full of surprises. People were friendly, helpful, were kind with our terrible Portuguese and spoke excellent English. It can get rather expensive mostly because you want to pack in as much as possible and everything is easy to get to. If staying centrally, as we did, it was very convenient to get around either on foot, metro, tram, or train (if travelling to Sintra etc.). It's quite straightforward to purchase a travel card, load it with a few euros, and zap away on any of the public transport. We spent around 10 euros each over 4 days and got everywhere we wanted to. We loved the viewpoints, sightseeing - every corner presented another quirky building or church, or random person serenading you from a balcony - the incredible fish and seafood, and our sunset cruise along the river (hands-down the highlight of our trip). Highly, highly recommend Nunes Real Marisqueira in Belem for mouthwatering fish and seafood,.

Being situated near sets of steps you need to have a certain fitness. Great area Alfama where there is plenty to do. Lisbon is very interesting with so much history. Near the St Jorge castle which is a must see and the Cathedral. Shopping fabulous. Ubers are reasonable to go further out. LX factory and Belém tower and take a trip out to Sintra Pena Palace. Was amazing. Loved our time in Lisbon.

A large city full of many attractions and historical buildings, museums etc. A waterfront by the very large river that passes through the City on its way to the Atlantic Ocean. It has a very good transport system, trams metro, trains and buses. A good choice of hop on hop off buses that have a number of routes across the City which are very useful because of the distances involved, too big to walk especially as there are 7 hills. Plenty of restaurants and bars serving good food and good choices. We would recommend using the Metro from the Airport cost is only 1.80 Euro's pp. You can also travel by train takes 45mins to the coastal resorts of Estoril & Cascais 5 Euros return well worth a visit

The city, the food and the quaint streets and beautiful buildings, history and tiles are among the best parts of Lisbon. Our hotel was in a perfect location to catch a trolley or enjoy music at night, not to mention the pastel de nata that was at several close locations. The streets are cobblestone, so wear your sneakers. The sidewalks go up and down a lot, so you will get your steps in. Sit, relax, look around and enjoy.

Lisbon is a charming city that has many areas to explore.
Lisbon is a charming city that has many areas to explore. We booked a great 3 day private tour with a tour company and had a wonderful guide for the entire time. We visited central Lisbon and walked through many interesting neighborhoods, as well as spectacular viewing points on Day 1. Of course you cannot visit Lisbon without going to the summer palaces at Sintra and the Atlantic coastline of Portugal. Day 3 was our choice to visit small villages of Alcochete, Salinas do Samouca, famous food market in Setubal, Palmela's castle, Parque Natural de Arrabida. The icing on the cake was a visit to an amazing tile-making shop that produce tiles that are handmade and hand-painted by masters that are shipped all over the world.
The staff always made us feel welcome and we enjoyed the little treats and touches of luxury provided. It was nice to be situated outside the main city centre and in a small hotel where guests don’t feel anonymous.
Breakfasts were great & the roof terrace & the spa/pool facilities helped us relax in between sightseeing in Lisbon. The hotel is well placed for the museum of natural history & science, the university botanic garden, and other interesting venues to visit in the locality.
Listen folks, it’s a cheap hotel in general but good standard. Too sterile vs the work paid 5 star hotel on same city but did the job very well for an extra night. Convenience stores near by. I did not have breakfast there so I cannot comment on the food. Location was good but uphill on Lisbon pavements with Willy bag on a rainy day not a great combination. Overall very pleased with product I got.
Located at the heart of the centre , easy to reach the sea, main squares, shops, tram station....
Beds were extremely comfortable, rooms were perfect and the staff worked their best in helping us with all our requests - they managed to prepare our room for an early check in as well !
My friend & I agree this hotel could be rated as 5 star hotel :)
Everything was stupendously great . This was our first time in Lisbon and we stayed here for 5 nights, this was our 20th 5 stars hotel across the globe. We were so touched with the hospitality and this is worth for meoney.
During past years I have stayed in many hotels in Lisbon including 5 star, and this one is the best for me. Great location, very modern and clean, reasonable price. Coming back in a few days)
