Convenient location for Lisbon, especially if travelling with a car. The en-suite bedroom had all the facilities and the property unusually provided a communal kitchen with an added washing machine. There was also good seating outside to enjoy informal dining or just relaxing. Such a lovely city, easy to get around, Uber is cheap if there are more than one of you, metro easy and trams. Its not for anyone not particularly fit because it is very hilly but the Belim area is flat and has plenty to see. Eating out and drinks extremely reasonable for a city. Word of warning, lots of places shut on a Monday - we were not able to get into MACC and many restaurants also closed. Very lively city, felt safe, lots of attractions to visit, beautiful weather. Very busy downtown area. Wear comfy walking shoes; the city is very hilly and the sidewalks are limestone tiles so the sidewalks can be a bit distorted and very slippery when wet. LIsbon very busy when Cruise ships in. So my advice is to avoid these days as the major attraction mobbed. The queues enormous and standing in the sun for lengthly periods out of the question. Go to Lisbon NOT in peak season.Guest review byMorrisAustralia
