We had an amazing stay at this hotel during our trip to Madeira! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was private and quiet. The room was set up well and the shared kitchen and the way it was organized was brilliant. Ruben and Maria made us feel very welcome—and Ruben was able to give us some good advice and tips about hiking.

Staff were great, location was central, beautiful building! It is right on Rua Santa Maria with lots of restaurants so there is noise, but it's a hum of talking / music so not too difficult to sleep through

It was not just a room with 3 beds as we had been expecting; it was an apartment with a kitchen and everything you may need for a comfortable stay. The owner is very kind and will try to address all your requests, even in a very tough situation like we had during our stay there. I highly recommend this accommodation.

Everything was nice besides location if only walking to town. And when ever someone walks in hallway at night the light turns on in hallway shining through windows of room which can be annoying.
