Excelent brand new place, super confortable, spacions and complete rooms, warm in the winter, free coffee, very tasty breakfast choices, nice staff. Very close to Matosinhos beach, Airport or car rental places. They have free parking.

The staff were exceptional, kind and helpful. The location was perfect, close to beach and good restaurants. Room was clean & comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, good variety. The pool and spa were a nice treat. Definitely will stay again!

This is an integral, honest and compassionate hotel/company, that I wholeheartedly recommend. My partner and I had a flight at 9pm which got delayed until midday the next day. I immediately had to book last minute accommodation, and during my frantic searching and stress I accidentally booked two rooms at this hotel instead of one (as booking.com said the first payment/booking didn't go through due to an error - when it really did). I immediately contacted the hotel through messages and calling but they didn't pick up and I was so insanely stressed. I was very worried that they wouldn't refund me as the booking details said no refund (and the receptionist suggested that they most likely wouldn't refund). However, when the help line opened at 10:30 am the following morning they messaged me right away with a full refund. So I just want to say a huge thankful for being so compassionate during such a stressful time! Now in terms of the hotel itself, it is super clean, the staff are all very friendly and the buffet breakfast is great! I sadly can't say much else as we were only in the area for one night due to the cancelled flight but just based on their customer service I would recommend them.

Great location for us walking the Camino, walked from Porto to Matosinhos the first day upon arrival. Staff was very nice and helpful, recommended a great restaurant close by. Just off the Camino path. Hotel had the most beautiful staircase I've ever seen.

The room was very bright with tons of windows overlooking the courtyard. The location is fun, we haven't stayed in this area of Porto before and it was very close to the beach, super walkable with good restaurants in the neighborhood. The owner recommended a dinner spot with great seafood and he was right! The breakfast was really good as well.

    Lovely area close to so many beaches and shopping and restaurants. Transportation was very easy - bus/cable car/ Uber - so easy to get around. And walking very easy for any level of fitness.

    A haven for surfers and watching them.

    A haven for surfers and watching them. Watching the sun set, stunning. Very quiet, lovely bar / cafes right on the beach and a very short walk to the local shops, restaurants. Ubers the best way to get around 3-5 Euro for 30 mins into main city Porto. Highly recommend the Majestic in Porto and then walk down to the river in Porto, loads of things to see and do. Can imagine it much busier in summer. Loved it.

    Plenty of places to visit to eat.

    Plenty of places to visit to eat. FC Porto and Sea Life Porto is very close by. It is easy to get around Matosinhos. The guests I booked in were there for work and so they didn't visit any activities but were actually setting up Sea Life which they enjoyed.

    It’s all about the beach and unfortunately we had awful weather so were unable to make the most of the location. Matosinhos itself didn’t have much to see but did have plenty of shops and restaurants.

    WE looked for a boutique type of accommodation within 10-15...

    WE looked for a boutique type of accommodation within 10-15 minutes of the da Vinci airport at Porto, away from the city centre but on a tram route, and in this case, the 500 bus that went along the sea front and segued into the banks of the Douro river. The 'hotel' only provided breakfast but coffee, home bottled water was available until around 7pm as were such snacks as were left over from breakfast. This seeming lack of facilities did not matter there was a cafe opposite, and several down the street to the tram stop about 250m away. You were spoilt for choice of eateries nearby. We did not use the pool because of the bad weather, nor did we book the use of the inhouse bikes but both these facilities make it an ideal stop or temporary HQ for those on the Camino, or venturing just on the Boardwalk northwards. We went for location, and ease of access to Porto City centre and the airport. The weather prevented any real exploring of Matosinhos. maybe next time...?

    Airy, bright, handy for the sea and for Porto.

    Airy, bright, handy for the sea and for Porto. Excellent transport - metro and 500 bus round the coast with lovely views. Transport is cheap with an Andante card that you can use on both. Handy shops and restaurants.

    Nice, modern and quiet hotel, with several perks, including bar vouchers, which is a great idea and really nice. The location is really good, not vor the views, but for the amount of restaurants in the vicinity. I will definetley recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Porto. It's not that close to the city center mas is really easy to get to the hotel, and nothing better than at the end of a travelling or working day rest on a quiet place.

    Location was excellent for walking the Camino. Was welcomed so warmly by Maria who was so friendly & helpful. Room was delightful & spacious with very comfortable bed. Lovely touch of small bottle of wine in room & bottles of water in fridge. Street with lots of restaurants, especially seafood, around the corner. Breakfast was in a lovely hotel around the corner and was superb ( best breakfast on whole Camiño). Would definitely stay again.

    The room was perfect to stay for one week in Matosinho's (big bed, nice bathroom). Everything was very clean. Elsa is a very kind host and we felt very welcomed. She gave us all the informations about the city (Matosinhos and Porto) we needed. We would definitely come back.

    Hot water with good pressure. A good chair to sit on by the socket for electricity. 24 hour reception also excellent. Bed was good but, the sheets are not fitting around the bed. £55 a night and it says on banner outside the hotel. The carpet was good.
