The SPA was really nice, it is really cool that you can go there without additional cost. The room was nice, the view was incredible, and the outside pool was also cool. The breakfast was really good.

Right across the street from the beach. Several dining options right out the door.
Nazare is a lovely place to spend a few days. The beach is beautiful and the town is very friendly. We took the funicular up the hill, walked down the other side to the beach to watch the waves. Highest waves in the world during the winter!
Overall a great stay for us and wished we had more days just to relax on the beach and enjoy the restaurants.

We had delicious food in several Nazare restaurants--grilled lulas (squid) is a must try. A ride on the Funicular will take you to the highest point for spectacular views. If you go in Summer, expect large crowds of tourists. After that though, the sea of people thins out and you get a very different Nazare. Don't miss trying out a few of the pastries (Pastel de Natas and Bole de Berlin are my favs), too, from the local bakeries. And don't worry about putting on extra pounds from all that eating, you'll be doing a lot of walking to burn those calories. Try to have dinner where you can watch the sunset--you'll never forget it!

Nazaré is a must if you are into surfing.
Nazaré is a must if you are into surfing. The beaches are clean and there is also plenty of offer sports-wise. You absolutely don't want to miss the fantastic view from the Sitio, or a nice walk along the promenade.
You will have to plan ahead when it comes to eating though: many restaurants close unreasonably early for what is expected from a beach location during Summer. I would strongly suggest seeking accommodation with kitchen facilities and simply cooking your meals.

If you like the typical tourist-environment with crowds of people walking around in their bathing-suits, this may be for you. If not choose another place (may of course be different when visiting out of the high season.

Nazaré is a beautiful city where you could have one/two beach day/s. We saw the biggest waves in the world and the history of surfing 🏄.
It is a small city where you can have walk easily and also easy to find a free car park.

A wonderful and friendly town with beautiful sights to see...
A wonderful and friendly town with beautiful sights to see and many restaurants for all tastes. It is touristy but still manages to keep its local feel - feels like a summer holiday town. Beautiful architecture and a rich cultural heritage can be seen in and around the town. Tourist attractions close by as well as a stunning beach for surfing, sports activities and tanning. Many curio shops with souvenirs and typical Nazare mementoes to remind you of your stay. We loved all the gelato places to sit and have an ice-cream and the pub like restaurants to stop for a beer/cocktail and watch the sunset. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area or passing through - need more than one day though. A tip when it comes to eating, if you feel like something a bit more budget friendly then taking a short stroll up from the beach front down one of the side roads, you will find a few restaurants that offer great food for slightly cheaper prices (of course you don't have the beach view here). Mr Pizzaman was a great find for our family with two children ;)
Loved the history of the place. Nicely decorated, rooms fairly comfortable, with a stair leading to the bedrooms, a nice seating area outside . It was a nice stopover to our road trip in Portugal. The owner greeted us and gave us a tour to the place. A bit outside of Nazare which was our place of interest . With the car no problem.
One of our favorite stays so far in Portugal, a perfect weekend in Nazaré with 4 adults and 1 child...very clean and well-kept, great oceanfront balcony for sunset views, right in the middle of town, easy walk to everything.
This is one of the best places close to the beach in Nazaré. The view is amazing, the host is quick in answering queries and the apartment is roomy and well-equipped.
Small hotel in the walking distance form the beach and city center of Nazaré. In the city is a very big problem with the parking. Room was small but clean.
