The apartment was completely refurbished. Very clean, comfortable and warm (that is normally a issue in the region). The staff was great, welcome snacks and bottle of wine to receive us. The breakfast was great as well. Highly recommend. The view was great. Next to river and beautiful meadow.

The very kind hosts offered complimentary afternoon snacks that lasted us until the morning breakfast! The hosts were also extremely kind and thoughtful in all our interactions, a huge shoutout of thanks to them. The whole house was also very clean and tidy.

Everything!! This place is amazing, from the building and spaces, the furniture and all the subtle details, and the view!!! I have never stayed at a place as great as Milheira (puts 5 star hotels on notice). And the host, was more than welcoming and open to supporting the visit anyway I needed

We loved the outdoor spaces: the pool, the tables, the grassy area. Everything was clean and inviting. Sr. Carlos was so helpful and friendly during check-in. He was very quick to answer our questions. It was a secluded mountain getaway. Everything is as pictured.

The hotel was very nice all round and great value. The room was superb and had great views over the river in the distance and was very clean. The scenery outside was fantastic and the hotel situated in a very quiet and tranquil location in it's woodland retreat. The breakfast was wonderful and covers everybody's needs to start the day. If I had a negative about the hotel it would be the gym which needs updating with new equipment that actually works and doesn't fall to bits or is in bits and not functional. I did a session on arriving on the first day and it wasn't ideal. Overall very happy and we will return next year. Thumbs up
