What is a pleasant surprise to find this small rural B&B! Very quiet and peaceful location, comfortable bed, traditional Portuguese casa layout. We loved common room with chairs and fireplace. Peter, our host, made us feel welcomed and well cared. Breakfast was exquisite with homemade jams, honey, yogurt with granola and fruits, etc.
Mosteiro's River Beach is only 5 min drive and it was really nice to swim on hot day.
Keep in mind it is a small village, no restaurants or nightlife but we consider it as advantage. I hope more people will discover this place and stay with Peter and Lineke

Pleasant place to stay in central Portugal.It is located in the beautiful garden. The host is friendly and helpful. Parking is on the property. The cottage is spacious and nicely decorated. It has well equipped kitchenette. Windows are screened against the bugs. The bed is comfy. Everything was spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast served in the garden. Two friendly, well behaved dogs. Relaxing atmosphere.
The hotel continues to provide good value for money and the amenities in the room cover the basics for a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet offers a satisfactory range of cold and hot items. A better effort should be made to keep hot items hot. Staff is friendly and accommodating to requests and deserves recognition.
The views from the hotel are astounding, The room was clean and the staff in the reception and the dining area very helpful. we had an evening meal which was really good quality and a good portion size. There was nothing to complain about and we certainly go back again
