We loved the welcome and helpful staff. The room we had and views were excellent. we were able to extend our stay to go on a riverboat and steam train as well as visit Pocinho. The wine bar opposite the Museum was excellent and the Museum well worth a visit.

The Douro Valley is beautiful. Our stay was too short.
The Douro Valley is beautiful. Our stay was too short. The big thing I would encourage travelers to do is to make reservations and tour plans prior to visit. Wineries are often booked for bigger tours and not accepting drop ins.

We loved our stay. The family and staff are amazing!
We loved our stay. The family and staff are amazing! I can't emphasize how welcome we felt. The dinner was delicious and the port/wine parings lovely. They also arranged taxis for us on two occasions. Would love to come back.

Very friendly welcome but took a few minutes to gain access to the property. It was a 25 minute walk to the station but taxis readily available and affordable. Close to supermarkets.
Tio Manel restaurant in Regua was excellent - in terms of food quality, service and pricing.
Boat trips from Quayside to Pinhao and from there to a selection of Quintas. The Croft tour and tasting was very good - informative and good value for money.

A change of plans brought us to Porto - and a spontaneous trip to Douro Valley and we picked Quina Estrada from the net. We made an expert choice! What a delightful, warm, beautiful and comfortable place. So rich in history, family and culture. The people are helpful and genrous with their time and information.

It was the height of the tourist season (middle of August) and there was also a public holiday. The town was very busy and put quite a strain on restaurants and bars. Previous visits have been off season and the town copes a lot better, providing a more relaxed experience.
The place owner was really helpful and friendly, we got advise about hiking app, also excellent story about wine making during homemade dinner. The place owner also advised us to go to their close neighbour winemaking tour with degustation, which also was great and one of our Portugal trip highlights. The room, where we stayed was extremely large.
Beautiful location- we really enjoyed exploring the vineyard. We chose to do the tour, dinner and wine tasting and this was exceptional- the best meal we had during our trip in Portugal. The personal touches were also really charming- we were greeted by personalised welcome drinks. The room was also very comfortable and we had a relaxing stay.
This is a hidden gem in the Regua region. The whole property (the inn, views, vines, trees) could be from a novel! Each window was an amazing view, and each morning we had a lovely breakfast. We also had access to a small kitchen, which made picnicking on the property a must! Great location, near river, bridge and train station.
Everything! Quite different from a normal hotel. it has a farm like setting with all sorts of vines and trees.
Maria was a fabulous host. She set up two days of wine tasting and lunches.
she also suggested few places to visit on our way to Evora. the drive to the highest peak of Portugal was breathtaking. A must see!
Amazing place! Beautiful architecture and lovely attentive service. I loved intimate feeling all over the hotel, public areas are really nice. And fabulous breakfast! Oh, and Antonio, wine tour guide was super nice and really loved his job. I would love to go back one day.
We were made really welcome by Ana, the co-owner, who did everything she could to make our stay special.
This boutique hotel is beautifully furnished with access to a lovely sitting room with terrace and fantastic view to the Douro river.
Delicious breakfasts
The apartment is very nice, large and well-equipped. It's in the centre of Regua that is a perfect place to start your trips from in the area. We've had the best sleep here, maybe it was the bike trip we were doing, but the bed was great
Good location in Peso da Regua, lovely comfy bed & all facilities provided good.
Owners very friendly & nothing too much trouble. Excellent breakfast, sitting on terrace overlooking the river.
The renovated house was beautifully done.
Loved everything. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.
Staff was really friendly, rooms were amazing, beds so comfortable.
Breakfast was great.
20 mns walk to centre but it's a lovely walk along the Douro River.
Great view over Peso da Régua, Douro river and Douro vineyards.
Incredible view from the pool.
Delicious breakfast included.
Lovely place to be with your partner and relax for a couple of days.
Margarida is an amazing host. We were very well cared for. The location is stunning. The wine tasting of their wines was fun and their white was the best we tasted in the Douro. We will be back!
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip here! The view of the valley was absolutely breathtaking, the breakfast was delicious, and the wine tasting we scheduled there was our best in all of Portugal!
A lovely hotel in the middle of Regua. Size of room and facilities exceeded my expectation.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
An amazing hotel. Looks old from the outside, but really pretty on the inside!
The staff was great, helped us with everything we needed and more!
The town is just beautiful!!
