Its a lovely small coastal town, but parking is a massive problem, with many people parking on the pedestrian path, and yellow lines. If I was visiting for the day, I would have gone elsewhere, but as a guest staying for 3 days, we spent many hours trying to park legally. My family and I really enjoyed staying at Lidia's place. The view from the balconies is fantastic. Ponta Do Sol has some great restaurants and the the town is very pretty. Communication with the person managing the property was also really good and they were super helpful. The view over the town, surrounded by banana plantations, was absolutely stunning. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a basket of fresh fruit, which was a lovely touch. Juan also provided us with a helpful list of nearby restaurants, supermarkets, and local attractions. Communication with him was excellent throughout our stay.
