We particularly loved the beautiful property and the way the outdoors was maintained and kept private. The pool and little play area and tree house was perfect to keep the little one busy and we never tired of all the little nooks to discover. Local beaches and activities were all close by. The property's peacocks and other critters gave it extra character. The hosts were absolutely lovely and always checked with us to see if they could add to the comfort level or give advice for day trips or restaurants. Their offering of a homecooked Azorean meal, served outside in such an incredible setting with lots of extra touches, just topped off the experience. Her sweet studio with homemade crafts was also a highlight. And of course the view of the sea from the porch! Highly recommend!

What an amazing 2 week stay! The immaculately clean house is quite large with a fully equipped kitchen. Grounds are perfectly tended with an abundance of flowers and native plants. There is a washer, dryer, and clothes line. I appreciated a hot soaking of my tired and sore muscles from hiking in the deep bath tub. The internet is fast and reliable, allowing me to stream music, upload pictures, and work remotely. There is a fully fenced cement yard that kept my dog safe and happy. There are fields I was free to explore, and a short walk to Caminho de São Vincente, a quiet road that runs along the sea. But what made my stay at Tina 3 exceptional, was the warm and friendly reception with Tina and her family. I was invited and enjoyed many superbly prepared Azorean lunches, assisted Tina with cheese making, gifted many biological vegetables and fruits, and accompanied to some of the magical places on the island. I also am lucky enough to have made a life-long friend who exemplifies the hard working attributes, honest values, and generosity of person born and raised on Ilha Terceira, Açores.
