Lovely stay. Great location. Good wifi. Very spacious. Detergent was provided, but no drying rack. Easy to find street parking nearby. The host had a lovely gift basket with some snacks. Shower floor did fill up quickly and had to take fast showers. No dishwasher, but there was oil, white vinegar, salt, and pepper.

Pleasant location right in the middle of Norte Pequeno. Easy access to food and drink. The host was quick and willing to provide us with vinegar baking soda solution to kill mold in the bathroom.

The friendliness and helpfulness of Gizela the owner. Nothing was too much trouble. The house was very well equipped. The best thing was the amazing view of Velas and over to Pico. Sao Jorge is a really beautiful unspoilt island with very friendly people.

The Rosegarden is an exceptional place with wonderful amenities, and caters very well to people visiting Sao Jorge. The views of Pico and Faial across the water are amazing to wake up to, and the screened balcony doors let you listen to the sounds of nature all night. Air conditioning, kitchen appliances, a fully appointed bathroom, and possible accommodations for four make this perfect for a couple like my wife and I. The owner was very helpful, including helping us get a rental car last minute! We will be recommending The Rosegarden to our friends, and we will certainly be staying again the next time we visit.
