A small town, very easy to get around.
A small town, very easy to get around. We came by train from Lisbon and had rental bicycles for a ten day jaunt delivered to our hotel from Tui, Spain. The first place in Portugal that we saw older people getting about on Mobility Scooters. The long paved route along the shore extends several kilometers to the Minho river. A place small enough to be relaxing and informal but modern and welcoming to an independent holidaymaker/tourist. Everything is within walking distance so you don't need a car to move about the town. The beach is huge and stretches for miles. It's clean with facilities on site.
