GreeceFirst of all we asked for an early check in. We had a baby with us and it would be very convenient to have the room early. They managed to give us the room. The facilities are amazing. Really nice yards with the rooms, sitting areas and swimming pool. The room was spacious with a huge bed and some coffee/tea amenities. Just out of the door is the beach and the souq nearby. Convenient, quiet location, suitable for families. Very friendly staff, really nice people. The breakfast was nice, arabic and intercontinental choices.

The Air port facilities being world class were definitely liked and afmired but the the hotel we booked changed to other road side makeshift hotel which by any standards was not acceptable from its location, service, even the Tv and bath room was deplorable, not functioning . A total disappointment being a fraudulent hotel booking and transfer

The national museum is amazing every time esp the café Thalateen. They offer gluten free pastries, can’t say with all my travelling Doha is the best for dietary requirements
Travel is amazing even with the Arab league there was no disruptions to trains

A lot of places which need to be discovered - National Museum; The Pearl monument; Place Vandom mall with dancing fountains; Villagio Mall; Katara Cultural Village; Souq Wakif; Desert Safari; City Center; North and West Qatar with some symbolic places - mangroves; East-West by Richard Serra; Camel Track, especially if you can see also a real race or practice race.

pleasant and safe , clearly a new-ish city and and so very little by way of history / quirky old bits . the skyscappers and general ambition of the place was interesting and the Museum of Islamic Art a must see - the highlight of the trip . desert trip ok but a very flat and fairly unintersting countryside . food was good and the Souq worth a wander around

I have been to Dubai many times.
I have been to Dubai many times. This was my first time in Qatar and i prefer it. Qatar is modern but retains some of its history and culture which Dubai has lost. Qatar is a lot cheaper. It is clean, easier to travel around and there seems to always be something going on (we were there for the F1 but went to u-17 football world cup final and the Arab Cup football was going on. For anyone thinking about a holiday in the middle east i would recommend it

Can recommend Doha 100 times over.
Can recommend Doha 100 times over. Definitely between October to March. Fantastic climate. Everything is super well organized. Everybody we come in contact was super friendly and helpful. Local food is delicious and the entire city is spotless clean. Without question and this comes from a Chef that still cooks after 50 in the kitchen, the fish market that we visited was the cleanest I have ever seen. Amazing. We certainly look forward to return again in the hopefully not to distant future. Thank you Doha for being so kind and looking after us so well.

Room service was good though food is a bit salty to my taste, but it was good and affordable. Very clean and well-equipped. Check-in was very quickly completed and I got to sleep very well after checking in (unlike my experience at other hotels in Doha when checking in at midnight as sometimes you'll have to wait for 30mins or 1 hour before your room is ready). Very helpful and friendly staff at the reception desk - thank you very much!

I had a wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton Doha Old Town! The hotel offers a clean and comfortable environment with modern rooms and all the essentials for a great stay. The staff was friendly and Breakfast quality was excellent. The location is convenient, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a great value for money—I would definitely stay here again

Thank you to Suren, very nice person, you can tell he loves his job. Makes you feel welcome, gave us an upgrade. Thank you. Great start to our time there. I like to try different hotels in doha, but honestly, I will return here.
The hotel was nice, clean, new, very upmarket, and impressed overall. Better than many of its competitors.

Very new hotel built for FIFA , vey good location on
C-Ring road very close to souq waqif the corniche and other tourist destinations.. local train station is musherib on the Qatar metro which is a 10minute walk..
