The national museum is amazing every time esp the café Thalateen. They offer gluten free pastries, can’t say with all my travelling Doha is the best for dietary requirements

A lot of places which need to be discovered - National Museum; The Pearl monument; Place Vandom mall with dancing fountains; Villagio Mall; Katara Cultural Village; Souq Wakif; Desert Safari; City Center; North and West Qatar with some symbolic places - mangroves; East-West by Richard Serra; Camel Track, especially if you can see also a real race or practice race.

pleasant and safe , clearly a new-ish city and and so very little by way of history / quirky old bits . the skyscappers and general ambition of the place was interesting and the Museum of Islamic Art a must see - the highlight of the trip . desert trip ok but a very flat and fairly unintersting countryside . food was good and the Souq worth a wander around

I have been to Dubai many times.
I have been to Dubai many times. This was my first time in Qatar and i prefer it. Qatar is modern but retains some of its history and culture which Dubai has lost. Qatar is a lot cheaper. It is clean, easier to travel around and there seems to always be something going on (we were there for the F1 but went to u-17 football world cup final and the Arab Cup football was going on. For anyone thinking about a holiday in the middle east i would recommend it

Can recommend Doha 100 times over. Definitely between October to March. Fantastic climate. Everything is super well organized. Everybody we come in contact was super friendly and helpful. Local food is delicious and the entire city is spotless clean. Without question and this comes from a Chef that still cooks after 50 in the kitchen, the fish market that we visited was the cleanest I have ever seen. Amazing. We certainly look forward to return again in the hopefully not to distant future. Thank you Doha for being so kind and looking after us so well.

Best hotel I ever stayed in with most friendly and helpful staff. They all went above expectations to help us enjoy our first trip with a newborn baby... Facilities are amazing, with indoor swimming pools on the high floors with stunning views of Doha.
Every detail was simply perfect... It is one of the very few hotels where I went to their website to write positive reviews about their staff members who were absolutely amazing!

We only needed the room for an overnight stay to avoid sleeping in the Qatar airport. It definitely served its purpose. It gave us the opportunity to stretch out, shower and store the bags. The location was a perfect- 3 mins from the Souq Waqif.
We took a bus tour and hopped off at the Souq. Too a uber to the hotel.
The roof top bar is very nice; great view of the city, service and food was excellent.

Given that I went to attend the F1 Grand Prix, it was one of the cheapest hotels in Doha. I wouldn't have stayed here for any other reason and won't stay again...
Check in is available 24hrs and NOT just between specific hours as listed here on booking.com
Close enough to Souk Waqif, even though still need a 5min Uber drive to get there

Staff where amazing, I ended up getting injured In Qatar outside the hotel and required medical treatment. Staff where very helpful and supportive. Im highly critical of hotels and have stayed in hundreds but this is one of the very few 10 star reviews I have given. Rooms are luxury, customer service is amazing .

For a three-star hotel, this exceeds the expectations of hotels in its star class. Due to it being recently built, all facilities are clean, modern and fresh (no apparent signs of ageing). The rooms are well-kitted with amenities and equipment. The gym is very impressive for the hotel's class.
