The information office has friendly helpful staff to advise you, but you need to choose where to stay according to what you want to do. Reunion has a lot to offer, all in range of Saint-Gilles les Bains but best with a car. On a small island where no journey takes a long time, it is wasteful to be tied to timetables. An amazing spot in Reunion island if you want to enjoy the beach. My family goes there regularly when traveling to Reunion island. The sunsets, the clear blue waters with corals and a variety of tropical fish, the soft sand and the hot sun, it is dreamy. There are beautiful beaches and many restaurants nearby. Our favourite beach was the one right there at Hotel le Recif, but there are many ohters in the area to choose from. We rented a car for the few days and that helped a lot to get to the stunning sites on the island.Anne-MarieSouth Africa
